That truck is a lemon 😂
It's so close to my truck. I have the 98 Chevy Silverado. The grill is very similar. Funny you mention debadging because that's exactly what I did. I've been wanting them to add the squarer body style like mine, but this will definitely suffice. The euro style tail lights and clear corner, head, and park lights were really common in customization for them. Pretty happy they added this.

YESSS FINALLY A AMERICAN TRUCK , AS A KID GROWING UP I KID YOU NOT MY DAD HAD THIS EXACT SAME TRUCK 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 white half cab , we had so many memories in that truck and it truly does have a special place in my heart , and when I remember the memories with my family I’d go back if i could am relive those beautiful moments with them and that truck 🙏🏼😭 , which is truly why I pick Chevy as my vehicle / truck choice , grew up driving in Chevy’s and I’ll die owing and driving one as well Bow tie till I die 🤝, but in the game inside it performs very well fairly quick for a truck and acceleration and handling are very good , now when it comes to off-roading it is very good at it , and performs in a respectable way , I think the only thing that stops it from being superior in the of road category is how low it is to the ground , but if we rockstar can give us an upgrade similar to the Yosemite rancher , how it started off as a low rider truck , then rockstar gave us the option to lift it , that would be an awesome advantage for the déclassé tosen 1500 , OH AND 1 last thing ROCKSTAR WHY COULDN’T YALL ADD A TOWBALL HITCH FOR TOWING , the bravado bison has it , and the vapid Sadler as well , so what couldn’t the Yosemite 1500 have it ??

As a 20yr mechanic I have to agree that the 5.3 has taken more abuse and neglect than any gasoline engine I can think of and still keeps going.
Put one in a s10 for a guy with a Ebay turbo and a 75hp shot of nitrous and he's been going strong for 4 years.

@@Tylarious yep. He said it made a little over 600 with spray, but I wasn't there when they tuned it. Not much hp compared to modern modified cars, but super nice in a s10.

This might be the best introductions I’ve ever heard haha 🤣 this truck was literally my first vehicle purchase of the dlc I love this truck I think R* cld have added just a few better customization that are better than some of the crazy ones but overall man I love it I went black with a desert tan or something trying to give it that champagne color look and it came out 🔥

The 4l60e is GM'S worst transmission ever made. You end up with a PNNNNNN transmission in no time
Any person complaining about transmission in any car he never change the transmission fluid in his life
it's a common problem with the 4l60e no matter how often you change the fluid. If you had half a brain and I suspect you do, you would know that you change the fluid filter and all shift solenoids at the same time. It still makes no difference on a poorly designed transmission
@@Ex-Mohammed_Anwar That is not an excuse for a transmission being weak.
GM used the 4l60e for 20 years... on millions of vehicles... sure there is a few that took a dump.
@@Tylarious all of them take a dump around 80,000 to 150,000 miles no matter how much you take care of them. Luckily I can rebuild them myself and make them stronger then they ever were but a good master kit runs about 800 here plus the price of the torque converter. That's why shops now charge about $2000.00 to rebuild one. Most take these trucks and scrap the vortec engines and go with a 6.0 LS platform. Too bad we can't do that in GTA lol even the 5.3 LS engines weren't very good. They tend to destroy the lifters and break the cam in pieces destroying the block. I wish GTA would allow us to tune or build engines like grand tourismo. But we will never get that lucky.
I had a 90s Silverado extended cab and the GTA V truck looks like a 90s Silverado, not a 2000s.
Maybe a mix of both, but it definitely looks more like the 99-02 trucks.
