I actually have one of these and they are quite cool. Very heavy, about 5"- 6" tall and they are cool for s'mores inside. They're on the pricey side, about $100, but literally last for years. There are websites online that sell them for $40-$60 if you look. Note: if you have birds, please don't burn this in the same room as them, even if the room is ventilated.
Please don't have this around kids. This thing just screams accident. As a retired 30 year career firefighter I have seen house fires rage from something smaller than this.
Well aren't you a wet blanket? 😂 guess that's a good thing, I can use you to put out the fire my kids will start. 😂 seriously just playing, couldn't help it.
You think that's the best way to make s'mores? Let me teach you something. You've got an oven? You've got a sheet pan? You've got parchment paper? You've got the basics for s'mores (graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate)? If the answers to all of these were yes: Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) Line your sheet pan with parchment paper. Lay out the pan as follows: Graham cracker with a marshmallow on top, graham cracker with a piece of chocolate on top, alternating while keeping it an even number to allow for whole s'mores. When the oven is ready and your s'more halves are prepped, pop em in for 2-5 minutes. Have the oven light on, you REALLY don't want to overdo it. These make the absolute best s'mores ever.
Additionally, I'd like to let you know that I only learned this while doing a home showing of The Menu. My roommate didn't know why I was timing my s'mores to be just about the very end of the movie, but he realized quickly enough.
Actually it's quite easy to put out a fire caused by alcohol, just grab a thick blanket and lay it on top of the fire, it'll be out in one second, literally. My dog knocked the whole table side way, and it spilled, and I ran to the sofa grabbed a thick blanket and put the fire out, my blanket wasn't even burnt.
Not too much difference, they are non-toxic when they are burned to produce carbon dioxide and water. Even ethanol is more toxic than isopropyl alcohol, because you will not drink isopropyl alcohol, but there are too many people who drink ethanol hhh
all you people willing to spend said money on this stupid thing you can make one for 20 bucks and it will look ten times nicer just do some more youtubing !!! nice video andrew great overview of the product and it uses and abilities
FYI the company recommends 70% or 91% isopropyl alcohol. You can use 99%, but the flame is much hotter and burns quicker

Now the price has been reduced a lot!
@@supportkorniful yup I'm seeing the. For $20 now
I want one but i guarantee you one of my friends would knock it over & set the house on fire

Thankyou for letting us know! The part where he poured the alcohol made it a case for concern for me too?
I feel you. I blew up a whole apartment buildings plumbing with a half stick (firework)… kids do some stupid fucking shit.
Fire is dangerous for kids?
Did you start the fire?!
Thank you I just bought this and really needed more instructions 🙏🏻🔥
That's actually really cool. Thanks for sharing this!
Cool, but extremely dangerous thing to have in the house.
Looks very modern
😂😂 “don’t try to cook a piece a meat or hotdog!” Great video!
Am I the only one who likes blackened marshmallows? Yum… sweet and sooty…
Isopropyl alcohol actually does produce smoke and soot, so I wouldn't use that to roast marshmallows, but pure ethanol doesn't.
But then again so does a wood fire where most marshmallows get roasted.
Where can you buy pure ethanol?
@@ilovemytribe moonshine or grain alcohol
While roasting marshmallows indoors with the tabletop fire pit doing a power outages will it keep a small area warm also. ??
Quickrete said it only withstands 400* feel like this could be dangerous

They very clearly say don't use over 91% on their website. They say 99% is not safe.
Very cool... err... hot? But kinda expensive huh?
Very cool and informative video!
Can you inscribe something on the side? If so will the paint melt off? Thank you
What about any smell from using alcohol? Is there one? And smoke?
This is also my question.
Burning alcohol produces only carbon dioxide and water vapor, which have no smell or smoke
The problem is that you can’t find rubbing alcohol anywhere since Covid started.
Im sure it depends on your area. They have it everywhere where I am in Columbus but it is also on Amazon.
You can burn whiskey and flavor the marshmallows at the same time.
@@daniellu8282 hold up… that works..?
@@daniellu8282 wait what, 😂
How do you put the fire out?
I was able to blow on it, though it does have to be a good breath
Use a ceramic tile or something solid that won't burn and place it on top. Make sure it covers the entire opening. It will snuff it out in a second.
@@AndrewOHara Thats what she said. lol
Definitely us a ceramic tile to cover it. Never smart to BLOW on a pool of flammable alcohol that is already on fire.
You sit on it and let one rip. Aaaahhhhh......
Half price today on GMA!
I'm not sure if I would put a bowl of fire on a wood tabletop. The fire hazard is very real...
Does it come in variety of colors?
is bio ethanol safe to use marshmellows with ?
its ok, nontoxic
Has anyone used the little glass beads in the stainless steel cup?
Couldn't I just make one with cement?
Good idea, but it is recommended that you use a metal can in the middle to fill the fuel, otherwise the cement is easy to be burnt by its crack
How long can 50ml of fuel last?
No mention of safety precautions?
Many of these fire pit still don't have an instructions now
Is the Flikr and the Colson the same product just labele under a different name? I noticed that you have a link for both. Thanks for your help!
Basically… it’s just a special cement ring so not all that crazy or proprietary. They’ve been selling out so I put both.
Didn't say how to put it out
How do you put it out
Probably just put some type of disk over the top
does the indoor smoke alarm not go off?
Smoke alarms detect smoke…. So yes if you burnt your marshmallow and that smoked
But isopropyl alcohol isn’t gonna smoke like fire wood does
Can you put a few drops of essential oils in the alcohol?
Million dollar question
You won't smell the oil because it would just burn up. If you want to smell oils, you should use a water vapor diffuser.
bunsun burner from jr high science on steroids, good idea, pricey, maybe $30 vs $100, it would really increase orders
Not sure it’s worth what it’s sold for.
WHERE WOULD I PURCHASE A COUPLE OF THESE
What about the soot?
Alcohol-based fuels do not produce soot
god forbid that thing gets knocked over. there goes your house

You might also fall down in your shower, should we all stop bathing?

I recommend to use ethanol and not isopropyl. isopropyl is poison.
