@@playfulpanthress it was even sadder how he died. He had a sore throat or something and was hoarse and found out it was cancer he had lost alot of weight and was still trying to work they even ahd a go fund me for help with treatment but sadly treatment didn't work. There is a video on RUclips about it.
@@karena5230 I don't know if I can watch it. I'm tearing up now. This is very sad. Especially considering he needed a go fund me. That treatment must have been crazy expensive. I really hate the health care in this country.

The different floor heights with the same flooring is dangerous. My apartment is like that and it only took me one hard fall to do a makeshift remedy. I added unfinished wood planks at the lower lever that are visible from both levels. A skid proof rug in the walking path would probably do fine.
Good thing about them is that they're not cheap, and they're willing to spend in order to sell...

I have seen a ton of these episodes, but haven't seen her come up with many creative ideas. 95% of the time, she paints the interior and exterior grey, puts in grey or white cabinets with marble countertops.
@JayJaySmith11 While that's totally accurate, many people comment about her creative ideas and amazing designs...which is simply not accurate.

Always like what they do but they seem to be stuck in the same color schemes............not that I don't like it but still. Although this time I preferred the tile or marble in the entry than a laminate floor.

I just bought a 4 bed. 2.5 bath. Extra loft/office/screened in catio/porch for 265k lol. It's 3400 Sq ft. I can't believe how expensive this house was going for. Beautiful but my lord expensive.
This house is in Yorba Linda (Orange County), CA. Are you at ALL familiar with how expensive housing is here? Further, this episode was filmed about 8 years ago. I guarantee you that house would sell for 2.5-3 million today!

If you don't mention location, USD265k is very expensive..!! For that amount you can get an acre of land and a bungalow on it, say in some countries like Thailand, Indonesian or Central America like Costa Rica etc...just saying.
I surprised myself: Had a strong reaction against carpeting that staircase.
But, all the buyer has to do is rip it out, install a beautiful dark but complementary wood staircase. Perhaps modernize the railing.
Landscape the back garden to within an inch of it's life, including an elegant kitchen parterre, an alleé of fruit trees (cherry?) -- scaled down in size, for sure: European (English, French, Italian) garden-style. Outdoor shower.

Christina said they had to get everything high end in this house to get top dollar, so she chose carpet for the stairs?!?! That's been a tacky look for decades. I'm really surprised there are so many compliments on this one. I mean, the house is beautiful, but they didn't do anything unique. Christina always chooses grey for the exterior, even if it doesn't go with the style of the home (like this one), grey for the interior, white or grey cabinets, and marble countertops throughout the house. Every single time.
Do you only watch the videos to criticize? In every comment where someone says something bad about the design or about her, there is a comment of yours saying something negative. This is how you vent your frustration, making those comments...
Errr she did say they wanted to save money for the hardwood floors on the first floor so,,, also old episode
@@NoName-rj4go Maybe I binge watched episodes that day or something, which is probably when I caught on that she uses the same color scheme and materials every time. I love how they literally save most of these homes, and understand that using a similar design plan is smart when flipping homes. BUT, it's not a sign of a good designer when the same plan in used for every type of home, watch was my point.

This might be the one house they remodeled that I didn't like. I thought the house was ugly and it's sitting on a serious incline. I also do not understand why the kitchen had no fridge after they were done. It's a million dollar home! Put a fridge in the kitchen.

Christina is an excellent designer. She is very attractive and wildly successful. There is nothing wrong with her voice, but all these women being so b!tchy towards her, just show a lot of insecurity and plain jealousy.
Tarekyou are a really patient guy.All Christina do is say negative stuff! She was not helpful at all.she was no help at all. All she does is run her mouth. I have never seen heard do a rundown of any project all she does is spend uncontrollably. Poor excuse for a woman.puy a damper on the show.

Why then are you watching the show at the first place. They are both amazing people, and very, very gifted. Tarek and Christina bridged the gap, the problems in their personal lives and stayed fantastically successful and together even business stronger. Isn't it to be respected and isn't it wonderful. Wish them both tons of success, great health and prosperity. Who does not like them, well get out from their show. Simply isn't it.
