Skill Development Aurangabad - The Story of CMIA

The Indo-German Programme for Vocational Education and Training (IGVET) works closely with public and private sector actors to promote cooperative vocational education and training for India’s youth. With the support of the programme, the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) has launched a 15-month, tailor-made training course that takes its inspiration from the German Dual System of Training. 17 boys and 6 girls have participated in the first batch of the training course and two additional batches are expected to start in the course of 2020.
