When I was young (6-8) my Mom worked in a children’s store part time nights. My Dad was responsible for getting me ready for bed. I wore my hair in banana curls so he would set my hair in sponge curlers. He recently passed away at age 99. I have so many fond memories. Your Dad did a terrific job.

One time when I was little my grandpa brushed and braided my hair. No one has ever brushed my hair as gently as he did! I did not feel even the slightest pulling, but the brush ran super smoothly in the end. He really loved me ❤
This brought back so many memories. I used to spend hours brushing my lovely Dad's hair. He's in Heaven now and I'm a grandmother. But it's such a lovely bonding thing. So special.

I honestly can’t even remember what it looked like, and there are no photos, but I loved it, and I LOVED that he did it for me!! Such a special memory. haha my dad cut my hair for my birthday last year and dyed it red for me! he knew it was something i wanted to do but with quarantine we couldn’t get it professionally done. our dads are pretty cool lol
