Love your butterfly design! It looks like you're using something like clothes line. Is it hard to work with? It really makes your knots "pop". I like to work with cotton, 3 strand as it's so soft and easy on my hands. Again, I appreciate being able to watch videos such as yours. I attempted this with 2mm Bonnie craft cord, for a smaller version... it does NOT work well at all. It does not knot consistently no matter what you do.
What size rod did you use? How long did you cut the cords? I want to make this but it is my first macrame project and video isn't too detailed. Thanks!

@@chantalsaulnier2746 Well, the video says the cords are 2 metres 40 centimetres long. As your cord is thicker each of them should be longer. Maybe 3 metres or 3 metres 50 centimetres. The longer the better.

I'm having trouble making the wings curved, they keep turning out like straight diagonal lines! Any tips for fixing/preventing this?
I had this issue at first but the trick is to pull the first half of the knot tighter to make it sit higher if that makes sense :)

I used 4mm thick cord and 240cm long. I made an extra butterfly to use the cord well.
