      thanks Eric, the channel blew up for wrong reasons though (short videos that went viral and got me de-monetized lol). So I can't relax just yet but I truly appreciate your work on supporting each and every one of us trying to make it on this platform!

    All good points, or should I say negative points 👍🏻😜
    You gotta have a passion for editing and creating if you’re going to start this RUclips thing, you’re absolutely right, cuz the pay off of nil.

    • @KSMotoCafe
      @KSMotoCafe  Год назад +1

      Yeah Passion for editing is very important. Most people who I see quitting YT after few months are those who hates to edit. They have amazing ideas and on screen chemistry but just hates editing

  • @SLIGHT_

    1000% agree.
    Still fun to do. You need to look at it as a hobby. Took me just over a year and a half to hit that 1000 subs, you’re not kidding on how little a RUclips channel makes lol. Yet I started off doing a video every other week. If I was to start again. I found the 1 per week is much better. Yet you need to be careful and not just make videos to have something come out.
    Love your channel, keep up the great work!!!

    • @KSMotoCafe

      yeah I am going the opposite way of uploading. I will be uploading less frequently next season as I burnt out few times this year trying to keep up with one a week. I would LOVE to do 1/wk if I had the time to film and edit but life just doesn't let you, especially if your main income isn't YT. Thanks for chiming in!

      @@KSMotoCafe I get that. Personally I try to have about 4-6 weeks ready. Yet I try to prep more for the winter. I find it easier in case you’re not feeling it or have more pressing items in your day to day.
      How do you find winter mths? In Canada it makes things difficult with the snow/salt.
      Again man, keep up the excellent work. Look forward to seeing your channel grow. It’s well deserved.

    I'm so happy when I found your channel because I love watching videos about motorcycles. I was thinking of starting my own channel when I get a bike, but I really think I'll probably learn riding some first and give it a year to get used to riding. I MIGHT get some video of myself on parking lots as I do some videos of how I'm getting comfortable on the bike. I still haven't gotten my first bike yet because of life reasons that made me put money elsewhere. I might do it at some point once I get a bike, but I will probably wait to do full on motovlogging till after I get time under my belt. I'm still aiming to get a harley 48 as my first bike. it has my heart and I know I have to get it in the next year or so because I feel they will be harder to come by since they are going to not be made any longer it feels like. I really enjoy your channel and thank you for the time and effort you put into this. It's so very much appreciated by so many.

    • @KSMotoCafe
      @KSMotoCafe  Год назад

      Yeah that is a good and safe idea. You should always record your rides with a gopro regardless if you are motovlogging or not because it helps to produce evidence when there are no witnesses. Also you can keep those footages for when you self-reflect when you do start motovlogging real time after gaining some experience! And hopefully this week's video covering the positive side of YT may further cement your desire to vlog. I am so excited for you man! Don't get too fixated on one particular model or brand of a bike for your first one because in reality, even if you get the 48, you will want a different bike after awhile. Just decide on whether you want a cruiser or sport bike or enduro and then pick at least 3 bikes from different brands so that you have options when a good deal shows up. If you are fixated only on the 48, you will end up overpaying its worth and maybe have buyers remorse later. Food for thought!

      But I matured from all that and now I rage less or only when it's necessary.

      And I lost control a few times in the beginning which resulted to me going off the road

    Why don't you become moto+travel vloggers. I'm surprised very few Americans do travel vlogs. What I'm saying is USA have so many beautiful landscapes. Like Sierra Nevada mountains, Grand Canyon, Maui. California herself have lots of lots of sceneries to bound. Also people fing vloggers interactions with people intersting that gives viewers like 1st person experience.

      hey thanks for this nice write up! I would say this, there are people who use RUclips as an online video album that can be viewed by family/friends/general public indefinitely or until YT collapses. There is nothing wrong with that. For me, I am mainly doing this to get back into video editing and as a creative outlet. I wish I could be doing this without a care about financial return from my time/investment/effort but unfortunately, I am not in that position where I can afford to spend 15-20hrs a week away from my family and a job to justify the time spent. So for me it is passion (for creativity) first and then income (to keep me afloat so I am not digging into my savings). That's my take anyway.
