The 24BT is one of the best-proportioned cars of the 1960s. Not an inch wasted in terms of design, few blind spots, some very idiosyncratic windscreen wipers, and all the looks of a big car. Imagine if the powers that were at Citroën had allowed it to have a more powerful engine.
Hi Tom. The car was designed for lap belts, but in the UK, post 66 models legally should have 3 point belts, so I fitted a reinforcing plate into the B pillar for the third mounting and fitted new belts. Unfortunately static belts are a bit of a pain but they work ok once you’re used to them!
Thanks Henning but those whitewalls are going nowhere! I loved the look on the press cars when the 24 was first released and think it really suits the car! It took a lot of effort to get them. I originally painted the wheels in the original dark grey but they looked awful so I painted the rims cream and got just the effect I wanted. John

Beautiful car! Great work!👍🎯

Wow John, what an absolute beauty.!!
Superb job John. Puts my CT to shame ! lol
Nice job !!!
Absolutely stunning. First panhard I see with seatbelts. Are those the original optional ones? I have a 65 24bt and love it!

Very nice, but please consider getting rid of the white wall tires.
