Another improvement/Revisited speedpaint
I did a different rendition of the speedpaint I did almost 5 years ago now... yikes haha
I wanted this one to be more dynamic so its a different angle then the other ones were.
Had a lot of fun with this. It was a nice distraction from my fourth year thesis film.. time to get back to storyboarding..

I'm going to get extremely nitpicky here. I think you over-exaggerated the scene. It depicts a cat pouncing on another, yes, but it seems like too much. Like suddenly one of those moving sidewalk things came in and separated these two further apart, because in the scene in question they were practically standing next to each other (unless this is a made up scene or something, IDK, you barely explained... anything in the desc), but then Tigerstar gets video game jumping powers with a power up and flies up coming down with brute force. Needful to say I do like the angle, even if it is over-exaggerated. The shading is also amazing, not too exaggerated. I especially love the background, which made me question whether or not it was part of the books, and Tigerstar's and Scourge's designs can not be disagreed with (except for the collar which causes a ton of flames.)
With the background could it not just have been set in leafbare?
TBH, in a scene with exaggerated anatomy (look at the facial proportions), I think having an extreme action is fine. It's just stylistic. It doesn't need to match the books exactly.
