Thanks for the instructions! I disassembled and opened the sealed box with batteries. Strange, but there was a lot of water inside. I ordered new batteries from Aliexpress and I'm waiting for them.
Please note that for those whose water pressure in the device has become weak during operation, you may only need to clean two very small holes that you can see at the top of the inside of the case if you remove the transparent water barrel. If these holes are closed, negative pressure is created inside when the device operates and there is not enough pump power.
If this does not help, then you need to change the batteries. Two NI-MH HFR-AA1600 1.2V batteries.
The device works great, and I don’t want to throw it away, but the official representative office refuses to repair it, so I had to figure it out myself.

I just stripped mine down , intending to fit new batteries , the battery and motor are in a sealed unit , you need to break open , if im honest , unless you are prepared to totally strip this , and make new battery compartment ,as you gonna need to break it ,to get them out , its a big job .. im just gonna buy a new one .. might keep the bits for spares , had it 2 years maybe , still works great just battery run dry in a few days .

I disassembled mine and realized the batery was inaccessible, so I used a rotating carbide saw bit for my dremel tool and cut off the battery compartment in the middle all around. It uses NiMh batteries, so they won't explode even if you ucut into them by mistake. I removed the batteries and instead of putting in anth NiMh battery, I put in a Lithium rechargeable battery, a charging plug on the side and used a lithium battery charger that I attached a charging cable to. I also put 2 diodes in series with the motor, since the voltage was too high. Works great. Not for the risk aversive! Also, there are many cheap units on Amazon..........

Thank you! I dropped the flosser and part of the tip got stuck inside of it. All I needed to do was pry it open. Now I know not to leave the tip inside when not being used.

Very helpful! Mine has developed a slight leak, loses about a teaspoon of water per use into the case. This produces a disgusting mess inside. Likely a couple of o-rings need replacing.

Sorry to be daft but it's a bit unclear what happens when it comes to the battery part. Got to the point where I got the front and the internal parts. Looks like that the internal parts are just clipped together and if I understand you correctly need to somehow unclip and pull off the bottom (battery part)?

I got it opened. You have to almost destroy the front panel to access the 2 screws to release the pcb. Mine had a problem when it turn on for 1 second. Piece of Sh... T!!!!
The front pieces are glued and sealed like crazy!!

I can’t detach the motherboard to see if that’s the problem. My battery is fine but wp560 don’t start. How did you separate the motherboard to take a look at it? We can’t find a way

mine was fine until the vent holes plugged & pulled a vacuum on the reservoir making it very hard to open fill flap. after splitting case as far as possible i found the solution but by then i damaged it [water or something else?] now it is worthless, won't turn on. to open the vent holes, pull the reservoir; in the very top are two tiny holes. insert a needle or small paper clip, anything that will open the holes. if you have to split the case to clean, do not pull main unit from the other half unless you want to buy a new unit, which i will do.

Hello, I have been using the WP 562 model (in black) for the last 7 months. Since yesterday evening, it is suddenly not turning on at all. No button seems to be working. When I attach the magnetic charger to it, no light appears. But the battery on the front side seems to be heated up. I have a suspicion that the rechargeable battery is depleted. But I cannot believe such a thing to be true after only 7 mnoths of use. I use it twice a day, mornings and evenings. Depletion of the rechargeable battery after only half a years speaks very poor quality to me.
I also do not have a proper service for Waterpiks in Romania, because here this brand is not largely used or sold.
So what do you think the problem could be? Could it be the battery after only 7 months? Do you suggest that I check for something else? Is this a common problem for waterpiks?
    Any advice would really help.
    Best,
    Ioana

My waterpik 560 fell and the top part come put i found the peaces and restored it as shown on the video now when i start the flosser the water tube tip comes out from the ridge and its leaking i have to keep pressing it down in order to prevent the leakage. Do i need to glue the ridge and split tubes or there should be something holding the that I’m missing?

Thanks for watching my video! At 1:42 in my video, you can't see it too clearly, but when you press on the button to release the tip, there are two little arms that separate from the split tip that allows the tip to come out. I suspect that one (or both) of those have broken off. They cannot be glued back on. Suggest you buy one on eBay that is listed as broken and only for parts that has the top still intact.
