We just got back from Williamsburg VA. We stayed at a resort similar to what you described. But, we didn't do much of the stuff offered there. It is a beautiful place. And the outlet mall there is amazing.

I watched that vlog -- You were already tan by the time you got to the timeshare - I went back to the beginning of the video, and back to the end for comparison, and I was amazed! the same thing happened to me during a soccer game! another girl and i slide tackled and i broke my tibia and fibula as well and currently have 2 titanium rods from my knee to my ankle! i totally get what he’s going through, praying he feels better and wishing him THE BEST!!!
I realize that no one may see this, but I could really relate to your dad's situation. I broke my femur in 2008, but I didn't know it. I fell again in Sept of 2018, that was when the fracture was found. For various reasons, I didn't have surgery until June of 2019. I have had 12 back surgeries and three abdominal surgeries, nothing prepared me for having an 18in steel rod shoved down my femur, a 3in screw just about my knee to stabilize the rod, and a 6-7in screw that is inserted through the ball of the head of my femur to anchor the rod at the top. It healed beautifully! In March, nine months after surgery, I had a slight balance check, I thought it was nothing. Well, I just never get tired of being wrong. Less than 24 hours later I spiked a high fever and one week, to the day, I was back in surgery. The physician, who I adore, told me in pre-op that they may have to remove the hardware. For the very first time in my almost 49 years on this earth, I thought I was going to faint. Thank God, I didn't faint. I am even more thankful to God that I didn't need the hardware extracted. If I had waited even 36 hours, the outcome would have been very different. So, I healed up beautifully, AGAIN. I hope for the last time. Hearing that your dad is going to have to the rods replaced multiple times, I literally had a brief wave of nausea and anxiety crash over me. I guess I said all of that to say this, your dad will be in my prayers. Thanks for another great video!
