I can’t help but feel that Chan purposefully wrote his rap in English because he knows how many international fans are watching KD. Like how he’s always aware in Chan’s room that international fans are watching so he speaks in English as well as Korean and translates when he remembers. Chan always keeps Stay in mind.

Honestly their concept is so good and well anchored. Not only they are talking about racism but they are also talking about having your own unique colour, which can be seen on their different styles of rapping but they are of equal value, they used white cuz in theory white is not a colour, but the mixture of all colours in harmony and balance. If you think about light refractory property, there is white which reflects different colours according to the angle, they are first and foremost the same, they just show themselves in different colours depending on their angle which is unique to them. Or I'm just looking too much into it, I don't know lol

Wow, the latter part of Han's Rap was so fast that I couldn't catch what he was exactly saying by my ears even though I was reading the lyrics at the same time. But, today I play it at 0.25x rate, and I can hear that he actually pronunciated all the syllables correctly without missing a single bit. That's just amazing. I can't help but saying wow. Hope this comeback will become huge and be a great success. He and his group just deserve it so much.

Hongjoong coming up with this concept.. god his mind and his morals are the reason why he's one of the best in the industry from this generation. He decided to make this whole song about racism colorism and discrimination he wasn't afraid to speak out about it and make it be heard by South Korea one of the most colorist country. He definitely kept his promise about using his platform to spread awareness of things like this I love him and respect him.

The members (especially the 3racha) made this song especially for today's stage the song is called "물감놀이", which means playing with paint They tried to deliver the message that they have different colors in their music, and people, no matter what their color is, can enjoy the music, and play all together.
I'm absolutely blown away by how well they were able to blend their styles together! 3racha tends to lean towards fast, hard-hitting rap with lots of syllables in a short time frame that kind of just slaps you in the face with their power, Hongjoong is a little more lyrical with a different kind of understated intensity and a very different nasally vocal tone, and Minhyuk has such a strong presence and concentrated power as well as a deeper tone, and he has a kind of confidence that really only comes from experience. I love that they put together such a fun performance that showcased all of their individual colors (pardon the pun). And it was meaningful too! Just what I would have expected from 3racha and Hongjoong. I really, *really* enjoyed this performance

Hongjoong was born to be on stage. His identity is so clear from the trademark laugh down to his composure and style. His artistry and talent are always used in a way that is deliberate and *says* something. He's not interested in just stringing words together with flashy flows just to look cool if the meaning is void. Even the way he looks at the camera and interacts with the viewer, there's something special about the way he does it that I have yet to see someone else manage, he doesn't just draw your eye, he commands it. His swag can be felt through the screen.
I get a sense of healing while watching these three groups interact with each other. There's only giggles and food and btob being fathers of hyperactive 4th gen all-rounder puppies. This is what I signed up for in Kingdom.

Everytime I watch this clip I cant help but wonder what this stage wouldve been like if Mingi was there too... This is LITERALLY his concept, the entire stage wouldve caught fire if Mingi could've been a part of this :,))) I'm glad he passed this tho, it was an intense-hectic schedule for the group and he really needed that time to recover his health
I just love their "give and take" set-up. Minhyuk let his juniors shine in the beginning, while Ateez and Stray Kids respected his seniority by giving him the spotlight in the end. I wish I could say the same with the fans. Sadly, some are so toxic that they ruin the whole fandom for the others.

The best thing about Mayfly performance. 1. The message. It talks about how we all bleed the same color. It talks about equality as a whole, racism and such. How they tried to convey such a very sensitive and serious topic in such an entertaining way is just pure talent. How they incorporate what some call 'props' every pieces were carrying their msg like how they painted their faces with different color representing all colors/races in world. I'm speechless. 2. Their chemistry is sooo good it reflects on the performance. For a moment i forgot that this is a competition and just enjoy everything. Cause you can genuinely see how they were enjoying the stage. 3. Their energy level are so on point and same level. No one was left behind and everyone shines on their owns styles. The message of the rap was clear,the participants conveyed their own style while still harmoniously blending with the others,the stage(props and hype team/dancers)reflected the definition of the lyrics and the whole thing was a VIBE.

stray kids have amazing rappers and dancers. btob have amazing vocals. so its complete to fill all three roles. i think they also considered that stray kids have the largest fan base between six of the groups so its easier to gain love and support from the audience.

Honestly their concept is so good and well anchored. Not only they are talking about racism but they are also talking about having your own unique colour, which can be seen on their different styles of rapping but they are of equal value, they used white cuz in theory white is not a colour, but the mixture of all colours in harmony and balance. If you think about light refractory property, there is white which reflects different colours according to the angle, they are first and foremost the same, they just show themselves in different colours depending on their angle which is unique to them. Or I'm just looking too much into it, I don't know lol

Wow, the latter part of Han's Rap was so fast that I couldn't catch what he was exactly saying by my ears even though I was reading the lyrics at the same time. I'm absolutely blown away by how well they were able to blend their styles together! 3racha tends to lean towards fast, hard-hitting rap with lots of syllables in a short time frame that kind of just slaps you in the face with their power, Hongjoong is a little more lyrical with a different kind of understated intensity and a very different nasally vocal tone, and Minhyuk has such a strong presence and concentrated power as well as a deeper tone, and he has a kind of confidence that really only comes from experience. I love that they put together such a fun performance that showcased all of their individual colors (pardon the pun). And it was meaningful too! Just what I would have expected from 3racha and Hongjoong. I really, *really* enjoyed this performance

Hongjoong was born to be on stage. His identity is so clear from the trademark laugh down to his composure and style. His artistry and talent are always used in a way that is deliberate and *says* something. He's not interested in just stringing words together with flashy flows just to look cool if the meaning is void. Even the way he looks at the camera and interacts with the viewer, there's something special about the way he does it that I have yet to see someone else manage, he doesn't just draw your eye, he commands it. His swag can be felt through the screen.
I get a sense of healing while watching these three groups interact with each other. There's only giggles and food and btob being fathers of hyperactive 4th gen all-rounder puppies. This is what I signed up for in Kingdom.

I just love their "give and take" set-up. Minhyuk let his juniors shine in the beginning, while Ateez and Stray Kids respected his seniority by giving him the spotlight in the end. I wish I could say the same with the fans. Sadly, some are so toxic that they ruin the whole fandom for the others.
Just like when they were writing the song, Minhyuk is a amazing songwriter and composer yet he held back and let the youngsters do their thing and let them proof themselves and they on the other hand respected him by giving him the final decision when making choices

I'm watching this after 2 years of releasement. Far away from all fan wars and ranking, it's still such a masterpiece and miraculous collaboration that Kpop not gonna witness again! The message they were trying to give is so strong and needs the most immense hype! Applause for them and hope to see them reunited again one day!

The best thing about Mayfly performance.
1. The message. It talks about how we all bleed the same color. It talks about equality as a whole, racism and such. How they tried to convey such a very sensitive and serious topic in such an entertaining way is just pure talent. How they incorporate what some call 'props' every pieces were carrying their msg like how they painted their faces with different color representing all colors/races in world. I'm speechless.
2. Their chemistry is sooo good it reflects on the performance. For a moment i forgot that this is a competition and just enjoy everything. Cause you can genuinely see how they were enjoying the stage.
3. Their energy level are so on point and same level. No one was left behind and everyone shines on their owns styles.
I love this so much..i feel so happy just by watching this. If you don't call this art i don't know what is.. 🎨❤️
I definitely agree. I wouldn't really argue with them abt the props if not for the fact that those aren't just there for decoration.. They utilized all the props to match their lyrics and help convey the message of the song..

The message of the rap was clear,the participants conveyed their own style while still harmoniously blending with the others,the stage(props and hype team/dancers)reflected the definition of the lyrics and the whole thing was a VIBE.

They probably choose Stray Kids because they're closer to them. Idk why they choose BTOB tho probably for the vocal and stage presence.
from a competition standpoint:
- btob for the vocal mission
- skz for the rapping (and dance)
but from a chemistry standpoint:
- skz and ateez are alr friends and skz are buddies w btob
- all three groups have a pretty established and comfortable relationship w each other 🥺
they could choose? how why
stray kids have amazing rappers and dancers. btob have amazing vocals. so its complete to fill all three roles. i think they also considered that stray kids have the largest fan base between six of the groups so its easier to gain love and support from the audience.
