These in depth breakdowns are godlike. I love the anime style avatar. It adds a lot of heart to the video with his expressions. 997th sub!! So close to 1k!!
Went to my local and got 2nd using him on Anchor. I think this slot suits him best, mostly for More frequent access to EX Summersaut EX Run Higher damaging combos (.5 bars becomes a lot more deadly on anchor, with me doing 2a 2a 623BD 623D series into ddC doing a decent amount) More chances to use raw Max Mode Bigger rewards off his mixups More chances to hear him say YUTO and a great counter to most folks choice of zoners/big reaction characters on anchor. Thank you so much for the guide!!
Haha nice. He was actually my anchor as well until Jenet came out. Having access to a million EX somersaults is pretty good but he’s still a hard recommend as an anchor because his style is super risky by default.
Im finishing up the last mission for Ramon's combo trial and this could not have come at a more perfect time because I just found out that he is such a fun character to play! Your earlier video for super/special cancels has been a REAL BIG HELP for helping me get through learning characters. Thanks for the help and Im looking forward to watching this video :)
Great video, I watched it some time ago and I really liked it. You should update it; now Ramón, after the last patch, is much better and more balanced!!!
Man i fell in love with this character when i saw this kof 2002 player named vegeta from Peru..his ramon is fuckin insane dude and such an art to watch..ramon is not as fast as 2002 but i still enjoy playing this character and from the past couple months is one of my main now
Yeehaw, thanks for this guide! I've been playing Ramon (anchor) since seeing his KOFXV trailer and still picked up some funny tricks from this vid that made me go ohohohohho Also now that he's been (not buffed) in the patch, he has even more funny tricks from hitting the brakes on Tiger Road! Since it has a tiny hitbox now, I've been putting the fear of his butt into my friends by repeatedly spamming Tiger Road brakes in place when I'm close to my corner, and they are about midrange away. So they freeze up because they don't know when I'm going to actually do Tiger Road, and I'm free to either do that OR turn around and do Somersault at will, which is great, cuz I have 2 unblockable options for them to not be able to react to ......aside from that, my friends also pick up Ramon sometimes for fun because of me, and I have one friend who also mains him on point/mid. I haven't really found anyone else who plays like me yet, because I dump all my meter on abusing his EX specials or super cancelling. It's not smart, but it's exciting and what makes Ramon my favorite, so yeah XD
This character is one patch from being nuts. I think they made him weak on purpose. But i still love him kof 11 was my first so this character is special to me. Please keep up the great work. I turned my notifications on for this channel( i rarely do) because your videos are so well made and informative. Thanks
Hey, nice guide but there is one mistake I think is really important to note since its so easy to fix and rather impactful, almost every ramon I see uses the heavy sobat kick whenever they can combo into it, keep in mind that while it does deal more damage, it adds HEAVY scaling so even at the end of the already really scaled combos and followed with the least damaging ender it is still more optimall to do the light sobat instead, the difference becomes huge if you super cancel the combo (nearly 100 dmg for lvl2). The only advantage of heavy sobat i noticed in combos is ever so slightly higher meterbuild, but its almost negligable
IMO the "standard grab" from close is awful without bar, it is super slow compared to other graplers , so yeah, the run in is the best he has as a grab without bar, what I have still a lot of issues tho is what to do as AA, since I still depend a lot on the sHK an rarele use the sLP
St LP is better coz its quick, but far HK is a better reward. St LP even if you land 10 of them its just a light attack in the end, if they land 1 jump in they’ll make up all the damage they lost right away. His command grab is important coz its invincible, thats why its a bit slower than others. You can also easily combo into it unlike the running grab. They both have their uses, Ramon needs to use all the tools he has to win.
The butt attack is neat so that’s.. something guess, but yeah he definitely needed a bit more help considering just about everyone else got much much better.
@@TrulyAmiracle He needs a bigger hit box and more damage. I can't believe snk gave him so little. I don't understand what they were thinking. I guess it takes them time to balance characters with his play style as well as long range characters.

Superb video! Exactly what I needed!
Thanks. Been studying him for a while and still learned stuff from this
Thank you! Great guide. 😊

ET Is playing a lot of Ramón lately... Cool to see him seeing potential in this char
I love your basic easy to follow guides.

I wish that was true
Excellent guide, really wnjiy the breakdown! Would love to see something for King of Dinosaurs or Gato
Amazing video thanks for the tips
Thanks
My main in 2002, but he struggles a lot with chars with good hops or keep away moves
As a bonus, a lot of the tech that works on KOF 14 works on 15
Nice

Yeah if you’re going to use dd+C doing D sobat is better, but B sobat is better if you’ll super cancel.
His biggest weakness? Vanessa.

I am disappointed that they gave hime barely any buffs. Why does SNK do this?
