Lotfi Bouchnak is our legend and there's no Tunisian who doesn't know him... But unfortunately few ppl from Arab world and other countries recognize his worth

I suggest that you react to “the Arabic dream” it’s so emotional and touchy, it describes the Arabic unity which all Arabs dream about and wish for. It is an “operetta” performed by 23 Arabic singer every one of them is from a different country, represents his country and sings in its dialect. I think you’ll enjoy it because of the different dialects and styles every singer sings in but also because the lyrics are so beautiful so I hope you find a translation to know its meaning. The thing is that it got popular after one specific event in 2000 (it was publishes in 1998) so it got used politically but it only talks about peace and union.

    • @Mariiiam
      @Mariiiam 2 года назад

I’m only saying this because if you decide to react to it
Here’s the best and most popular version
      ruclips.net/video/1ShAdvI4Vc8/видео.html
But it contains some graphic content (real footages) and youtube age restricted it. So if you’re okay with watching it because it’s the best version you should consider putting a black screen on top of these footages while you edit it (for the sake of your video😅)
And if not here’s a live performance

The eye that doesn't see you
The eye that doesn't see you
What a shame everything it saws

And the heart which doesn't love you
Tell me what does it do with its life

You, flower of my life, you brown girl
    When you lighten my nights

It is like i hugged the moon
And i picked the sun with my eyes

I swear, if i walk on coal
Your love gifts me its wings

I watered my life by your hand
I saw it grow with you and me

It blooms like a flower on your cheeks
And wiped the tear from my cheeks

But you owned my heart on your own
hear your name on its beats

My life was lost behind me and made
My petals wilt between my hands

And when i loved you, ya lella (my lady)
The tree of my life came back alive

    If i didn't fear God
I would say that your love revived those who died

In tunisia in particular, the hip hop music and urban music is far the most developped in the region ( lesten to Balti, Jenjoon, Nordo, .... ). very innovative music even for classic music

The song is about the woman he loves. the title means "The eye that doesn't see you'
In the very beginning it started with this (and these are repeated, when she has higher touching singing):
The eye that doesn't see you
(too bad or it's a waste) all what it has seen
and the heart that doesn't love you
    Tell me, tell me
Tell me what it does (like what's the point) with it being alive

Hello dear Jay ... The true origins if name ( Bou Shenaq ) backs to an Amazighian language ( Shoshanq, or as in French writes it Chechnaq), who was an Amazighian king defeated the Egyptian pharaoh Ramses III in 950 B.C. and established a monarchy that ruled from Libya to Egypt.
That event set a calendar knowen today for us as Nennayer 2971 (in each 12 January), just like Newroz for Kurdish people.
All Amazigh communities are celebrating Yennayer (Nnayer), it's an recognized officially holiday country like Algeria, and forbidden in some other countries.
And all families and placed names in North Africa are sharing that old origin, and names like (Sheshnaq, Bou Shnaq, Ben Shnaq ... ect), are just different spells for same name.
    Have a good day.
    P. S:
That is true ... ! There is some resemblance phonetic to name ( Tashnaq ) city, paople and kingdom in central Asia.

If you want to go through details Bushnak means "Bosnian" or "Bosniak", also transliterated Bushnaq, Boshnak, Bouchenak and Bouchnak is a surname common among Levantines of bosniak origins and not Arab origins and I insist again on Bosniak origins ( by the way Levantines were never arabs ,a large ethnic groups in the Levant include Jews, Maronites, Kurds, Turks, Turkmens, Antiochian Greeks, Assyrians, Yazidi Kurds, Druze and Armenians ) .Even the singer himself stated that his origins are Turkish .

@@rabebisma6321 sorry, boushnak of Tunisia is a pure arabic surname، genetically.
All Boushnaks of the city of Mahdia were on j1 genetically and ESPECIALLY mutation that belongs to the south arab peninsula.
Boushnak is a combination of 2 words in arabic: bou means abou in arabic means - the father of - and - means the owner of- too.
Shnak in arabic means tape or rope. So boushnak means the owner of the tape.
But the real and common meaning of boushnak is
A tall person in the native arabic (بشناق).
In the Maghreb, there has been a strange phenomenon for many years, represented by an identity problem, where you see Tunisians deny their usual identity and stick themselves in the identities of turkish, Italian, spanish...
Do not be surprised by any black Tunisian person who tells you that he is German or scandinavian.

      @rabebisma6321 2 года назад

@@marinellamlen1987 sorry again check your information. Bushnak is a common surname among the Levant of Bosnian origin. Those who share this title are descendants of the Bosniaks who were persecuted and displaced under Christian rule after the Austro-Hungarian occupation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1878, and subsequently migrated to Turkey, the Levant, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Tunisia, and Morocco. And because they were so beautiful and tall the word بوشناق became a connotation of beauty . The Bushnaks (Bosnian: Bošnjaci), meaning the Bosnians, are the Muslims of the regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its surroundings, and their main regions are Bosnia and Herzegovina . And let me tell you most Tunisians have different origins including me. I am originally from Iran . I am specialized in asian and Arabic history and I am very sure about my information.
