We use WestJet for transatlantic, and are always pleased with the service. We have flown when they were low cost, and in the new 787. Very good airline

Very nice, I've flown with WestJet before and I prefer flying with them instead of Air Canada. I've never flown the Dreamliner, but just their standard 737. In 2013 I was one of the first at the airport and they gave me the bulkhead seat up front and I was spoiled, the legroom was so nice, especially as it was an economy flight. It's so nice not having anyone in front of me reclining onto me. I flew them down to Trinidad and Tobago in December 2012. My mother had just passed away and they gave me a bereavement fare, which I never knew existed, so it was nice, but the service was wonderful.
I have flown into and out of Barcelona several times and it's always sad to leave. I love Barcelona, a great City. Really nice review and aircraft and might need to go back to Barcelona vis Toronto. Thanks for the reviews, super job.
I've wondered about Westjet...thanks for the review. I'm about to fly after not having flown for a loooong time. Jetblue Bos to London. How do you handle turbulence, does it bother you at all? I've been on some rough ones but as I said, it's been a while. Thanks for giving us a peek at this business class.
It can get uncomfortable every now and then, and there's specially times where they catch you by surprise. But I don't once get scared over it, I always tell myself how there's never been a plane thats been brought down due to turbulence. I tend to try and ignore it nowadays.
Now why didn't I think of Barcelona for my next trip report? Argh! Lovely flight on WestJet! I just wish you'd release Macaw Sharp from comment jail LOL! - Red
In 2019, I flew WestJet from Barcelona to Toronto in economy, but that was in their old, OLD 767! That flight was also full to the brim and I had to purchase my inflight meal, but overall it wasn't bad. Something tells me that my experience on the Dreamliner would have been much better.

Seems like it was a decent flight overall BUT as far as frequent flyer miles go, if you aren’t a Delta frequent flyer member it doesn’t help much. I’ll stick with Star Alliance member Air Canada because miles accrued flying them goes much further. 😉👍🏻. Too bad WestJet parted ways with the AAdvantage program 😕
You know what sucks… the fact they had ice wine flew completely over my head until now. Everyone’s been telling me to try it 🤦♂️. It’s not like I would’ve had any on that flight thanks to my food poisoning I had a few days prior 😑

Good review - a couple requests - have a clear route indication at the beginning of the video and also, would be great to know what you paid. All business travel is dynamically priced, and it's always interesting to know what it really cost. at 2500$ it would be decent value, at 5000$ I would say not.
I’ll definitively start adding those based on the amount of requests I’ve had to show prices. For example for this ticket I purchased Barcelona-Toronto one way for 850 dollars!
It will be interesting to see what becomes of the 787 services since their new CEO wants to reverse the direction of the airline and return it to its LCC roots.
Was there a mask mandate in European airports or was it just Westjet? Guessing you hold passports for both Mexico and Estados Unidos--assume you had to go thru customs twice in Toronto--once for arrivals from BCN and again to pre-clear US Customs so your flight is considered a domestic one. Figured you'd go for some whiskey as you've been known to favor Canadian Club! Will you post your arrival flight to BCN?

I have a goal to become wealthy multi-millionaire , is it just me or do these first class reviews and seats motivate me to work harder and take more action? It might remind me of the beautiful end results I will receive, god will get me there! Keep up these videos, year by year, they progress excessively😁🤩💫✈️

Wealthy AND multi-millionaire huh. Might wanna focus on tautologistic reductions - efficiency is the key to building wealth. And yes business class travel is very motivating. But I can tell you once you are wealthy you will not give 2 shits about this kind of travel, in fact it will bore you to tears. Enjoy the ride!

I heard rumors of WestJet cancelling their MAX7 orders in favor of A220. What's your opinion on the likeliness of that?
Likely just that a rumor. Doubt they are moving away from Boeing.

Solid product, especially for $800
Westjet looks to be a very polished service at a great price. But, there are no window seats in Business Class so it's on my no-fly list.
All of the A and K seats are window seats!
