There are few creators that make content for a more grown up/adult audience. You were such an influential and important person in my teen years. My mom passed when I was little so you were the one who taught me how to do makeup, you taught me fashion and confidence and so much more. I’m now 28 and working in marketing. So happy to see you are doing well! 💕

WOW. Blair, it is so good to see you after all these years! I seriously was smiling the whole video and actually teared up at the end when you were talking about how much it took for you to get where you are and that you feel like you are "here." Watching this video seriously did feel like reuniting with an old friend! I started watching you back in 2010 when I had just moved to a new school and I had no friends. It was the loneliest period of my life at that point and I would come home from a hard day at school and watch your videos. You seriously felt like a friend to me! That feeling of connection I was able to feel with you was one of the main reasons I started my own RUclips channel. I wanted to be that for others. So thank you. I decided to step away from RUclips in 2020 to explore my other passions (specifically music) and now I'm at a point where I'm just allowing myself to stay open to all the possibilities in terms of where my life could go and what I could create! I feel so inspired hearing you talk about the work you've put in at the architecture firm and you lit up when you were talking about teaching. For so long I've felt like I need to pursue a career in the spotlight, but I'm starting to explore the possibility that a softer, quieter life might be what's healthier for my nervous system and what nourishes my soul more deeply. I know all too well the pressures of living in LA, being on camera all the time, and always being focused on the next "big thing." Honestly, your's and Elle's channels were the best days of the beauty community. I loved when you got to see a real person vlogging their life, along with the beauty. I also loved seeing more accessible fashion, room decor, hair styling, morning routines/evening routines, etc alongside the beauty content, and followable tutorials. I'd honestly love to see that type of content make a comeback. You and Elle are actually the ones who inspired me to become a lifestyle blogger (I need to get back to that, I've been on a hiatus for quite some time). ALSO, I still have Beneath The Glitter! It's one of my favorite books, and it's probably my most reread book!
I feel like I have you to thank for my entire career. It was because of you and sister, I saw the power of “influencers” and the influence you had over all of us to sell us the beauty products you use and love. You introduced me to the concept of PR as a marketing medium and in my early days of beauty PR I would often talk about you and Elle in my first internship interviews back in 2011 before the word influencer was even existed. I am now a Senior Account Director over seeing a multitude of global beauty brands at a dedicated beauty PR agency. I think about you two often when I am interviewing juniors and I ask what influencers or talent today inspire them! ❤ So happy to see you happy! X

I am 27 now and went back to University last fall when I was 26. It was your video that inspired me, because I felt the same way you did. I am so happy to see you are content now and I hope I will get to that point in 2 years as well! I would LOVE to hear about your college experience as an adult! In my case it's been a little hard to make real friends, because I already have a social life and balancing that but also finding new friends and maintaining those friendships is really hard.

I’m in my mid-late 30s, and my husband still asks about you jokingly (how’s your friend Blair Fowler??) because I used to watch you a lot when he and I first met, lol. Many of us slightly older folks didn’t know much about makeup until you younger ladies started releasing makeup videos and the beauty community grew! My husband just asked about you a week or two ago! You seem like you’re living the good life, Blair. I’m so happy for you and proud of you. I just want you and everyone else to know that just because life doesn’t go how you thought it would and how you may have planned it, you can still live an incredible life. What a crazy life this is! Growing up with a RUclipsr that doesn't even knows you. But so many feelings come back from watching this and makes me reflect on the change. I was watching you while i was in pharmacy school with my bf and now I'm 11 years down my career and I work from home as a pharmacist and married that bf and had a child with him who is now 6 yo and we went through a divorce and I got saved and accepted Christ into my life which I never thought would happen when I was with her dad. I really feel for you on the point about hate comments and the amount of critique you and Elle both faced - it was completely baseless and unwarranted. From what I remember, there was a lot of noise regarding sponsored videos and promoting your own makeup line. Both of which are so commonplace and celebrated by fans now - people nowadays have a better understanding of how it works and are usually happy to see their favourite content creators doing well and even ask for products/merch to be produced! Just crazy how different early RUclips used to be and frankly unfair people are. When I was 26 I went back to school. I applied and was accepted before all the craziness of COVID happened but I am so thankful for it. 2019 was one of the darkest years of my life and with COVID it could have been worst, but school was such a good distraction from everything that I actually got better during the pandemic. I currently work in non-profit and with a school board working with youth mental health. It really is true when people say there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel. I’m in such a good place and have grown so much as a person. I’m glad to see other people who are considered to be “older” students going back to school on a platform such as yours. There is no age limit to learning 💕
This video just feels like a cozy catch up with a friend who you don’t see as much anymore now that you’re both adults. I got into watching RUclips around the time you started making videos and watching you not to long after. I also just turned 30 and finally graduated with a BSc in something I love. So it really feels nice to still get glimpses into your life like this and through your stories on IG when you were in school since it feels like we all grew up together a little bit and still get to keep in touch ❤

I’m 27 now! A government employee. I joined the Marines at 17. I still remember watching your videos growing up. So crazy how things have changed over time. Your jobs sound so cool!!! I love that you found fulfillment & meaning in life. I can imagine the LA life just feels like you’re waiting for the next thing to happen. WOW. Blair, it is so good to see you after all these years! I seriously was smiling the whole video and actually teared up at the end when you were talking about how much it took for you to get where you are and that you feel like you are "here." Watching this video seriously did feel like reuniting with an old friend! I started watching you back in 2010 when I had just moved to a new school and I had no friends. It was the loneliest period of my life at that point and I would come home from a hard day at school and watch your videos. You seriously felt like a friend to me! That feeling of connection I was able to feel with you was one of the main reasons I started my own RUclips channel. I wanted to be that for others. So thank you.
I decided to step away from RUclips in 2020 to explore my other passions (specifically music) and now I'm at a point where I'm just allowing myself to stay open to all the possibilities in terms of where my life could go and what I could create! I feel so inspired hearing you talk about the work you've put in at the architecture firm and you lit up when you were talking about teaching. For so long I've felt like I need to pursue a career in the spotlight, but I'm starting to explore the possibility that a softer, quieter life might be what's healthier for my nervous system and what nourishes my soul more deeply. I know all too well the pressures of living in LA, being on camera all the time, and always being focused on the next "big thing." I seriously felt so excited to reunite with you in this way and look forward to the content you will share along your journey of continuing to find yourself, and I will always be a lifelong supporter. ❤I love you Blair! Blair, I'm so happy to see you healthy, happy, and thriving! I can honestly say you were the faraway friend I had who helped me escape and feel less alone when I was younger. I have to agree with others on here that I never clicked a video faster lol. I feel so happy for you and it's like hearing from an old friend all over again.
One thing I've learned growing up is to trust God's plan for you. I always wanted to be a mom and at one point was told I'd never have kids. Well guess what?! I'm a proud mom of a feisty, smart, and overall amazing little girl who will be turning 5 in September! Keep doing what you're doing great things are going to continue to come your way I just know it
Honestly, your's and Elle's channels were the best days of the beauty community. I loved when you got to see a real person vlogging their life, along with the beauty. I also loved seeing more accessible fashion, room decor, hair styling, morning routines/evening routines, etc alongside the beauty content, and followable tutorials. I'd honestly love to see that type of content make a comeback.
You and Elle are actually the ones who inspired me to become a lifestyle blogger (I need to get back to that, I've been on a hiatus for quite some time).

I feel like I have you to thank for my entire career. It was because of you and sister, I saw the power of “influencers” and the influence you had over all of us to sell us the beauty products you use and love. You introduced me to the concept of PR as a marketing medium and in my early days of beauty PR I would often talk about you and Elle in my first internship interviews back in 2011 before the word influencer was even existed. I am now a Senior Account Director over seeing a multitude of global beauty brands at a dedicated beauty PR agency. I think about you two often when I am interviewing juniors and I ask what influencers or talent today inspire them! ❤ So happy to see you happy! X

I am 27 now and went back to University last fall when I was 26. It was your video that inspired me, because I felt the same way you did. I am so happy to see you are content now and I hope I will get to that point in 2 years as well! I would LOVE to hear about your college experience as an adult! In my case it's been a little hard to make real friends, because I already have a social life and balancing that but also finding new friends and maintaining those friendships is really hard.

I’m in my mid-late 30s, and my husband still asks about you jokingly (how’s your friend Blair Fowler??) because I used to watch you a lot when he and I first met, lol. Many of us slightly older folks didn’t know much about makeup until you younger ladies started releasing makeup videos and the beauty community grew! My husband just asked about you a week or two ago! You seem like you’re living the good life, Blair. I’m so happy for you and proud of you. I just want you and everyone else to know that just because life doesn’t go how you thought it would and how you may have planned it, you can still live an incredible life. Tranquility and contentment are underrated and are often within your control.

What a crazy life this is! Growing up with a RUclipsr that doesn't even knows you. But so many feelings come back from watching this and makes me reflect on the change. I was watching you while i was in pharmacy school with my bf and now I'm 11 years down my career and I work from home as a pharmacist and married that bf and had a child with him who is now 6 yo and we went through a divorce and I got saved and accepted Christ into my life which I never thought would happen when I was with her dad. I really feel for you on the point about hate comments and the amount of critique you and Elle both faced - it was completely baseless and unwarranted. From what I remember, there was a lot of noise regarding sponsored videos and promoting your own makeup line. Both of which are so commonplace and celebrated by fans now - people nowadays have a better understanding of how it works and are usually happy to see their favourite content creators doing well and even ask for products/merch to be produced! Just crazy how different early RUclips used to be and frankly unfair people are. I started watching you in middle school! I'm now 25, married and a financial analyst. I'm so excited to see you getting back in to youtube! I especially love how you mentioned making your child self happy, I've been trying to get back into the hobbies I enjoyed when I was growing up as well! The twenties have just felt like a weird era of my life and something about getting into old hobbies has been nourishing to the soul! 💕
This is such a cool story! I started watching you in college. I graduated with my BSN in nursing, then went back 4 years later and got my Masters in Nursing Education and I transitioned to full-time teaching in 2020! While both my careers are similar, education is a whole different beast! I love it so much and I’m glad you do too!

I remember buying the makeup palette you and your sister came out with. I hope I remember that right! I'm 37 In a few days and for the first time in a long time I finally feel like I'm complete and happy and in such a comfortable place and in no rush. I'm single no kids but I work full time I have my own home there is no time frame for marriage etc. I enjoy my little simple life. Glad to have you back x

When I was 26 I went back to school. I applied and was accepted before all the craziness of COVID happened but I am so thankful for it. 2019 was one of the darkest years of my life and with COVID it could have been worst, but school was such a good distraction from everything that I actually got better during the pandemic. I currently work in non-profit and with a school board working with youth mental health. It really is true when people say there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel. I’m in such a good place and have grown so much as a person. I’m glad to see other people who are considered to be “older” students going back to school on a platform such as yours. There is no age limit to learning 💕
This video just feels like a cozy catch up with a friend who you don’t see as much anymore now that you’re both adults.
I got into watching RUclips around the time you started making videos and watching you not to long after. I also just turned 30 and finally graduated with a BSc in something I love. So it really feels nice to still get glimpses into your life like this and through your stories on IG when you were in school since it feels like we all grew up together a little bit and still get to keep in touch ❤
You were one of the first RUclips channels I watched, I bought my first eyeshadow brush because of you(a fluffy blending brush )and I still have it. You helped me feel like my love for beauty was normal, and you have such a special place in my heart. This has made me sooo emo 😢 Not to trauma dump but my childhood wasn’t the best (like a lot of people I’m sure can relate) I remember watching your videos & telling myself one day I’ll get to that point of being successful like she is & be happy. I’m now a stay at home mom of 2 (pregnant with my 3rd😅) I can truthfully say I’m so in love with my own life & genuinely happy. It’s crazy but I was just thinking a few days ago of your videos & how much joy they brought me in those dark moments of my life.
