    3:22 In case anybody is wondering, CFR stands for Căile Ferate Române, which is the state railway carrier of Romania. Underneath it says "Craiova", which is a city in Romania.

    This is an excellent video. I like how you can see how the rails and joints flex under the weight of the trains. You also show how the wheels ride on the rails, and seeing this at ground level really enhances the view. Great job 👍

    American railroader here. What countries are this footage from? It's very interesting how much different the switches are constructed. Hell, even the shape of the rail/ head is different. Very interesting video!

      The track condition is actually quite normal, especially for train yards. In actuality train tracks aren't that flat or even rigid.

      The camera creates effects that often make the railroad tracks look very soft, causing them to bend. The curves are sometimes so tight that you think a train might actually derail.

    Hello Andrew I`ve been watching this film for almost an hour But then I`m sometimes shocked how the bolts are stuck, The lag screws in the sleepers or how the points are there, There is more loose than fixed, Sometimes you see the track sinking almost 2 to3 Cm into the ground, Is there no underwood on the track Andrew This is the least dangerous, You can pass this on Because this can lead to derailment MVGR your Mate Henk Belgium Border😬😵‍💫

    Interesting video, 26:34 that nut is literally loosening as the train is passing overhead! I used to enjoy hearing the 'cracking' sound in the rails long before the train arrived, maybe do a video of that as well.

    Cái thắc mắc của tui là ở chổ,nếu như ô tô thì có bộ vi sai nó sẻ được cân bằn vòng tua của 2 bên trái và phải của 2 bên bánh xe,còn xe lửa nó ko có bộ vi sai khi quanh cua nó làm sao cân bằng vòng tua nó sẻ bị kẹt bánh xe.

    You know what’s crazy I get all the same sounds with my model trains. The same sound the wheels and switches and rail joiners make are the same with my model railroad.

    I find impressive, that all of this trains don't derail. The railsystem seems to be very tolerant. Now I know, that it is not only for comfortreasons, that a train needs a suspension. Brilliant film!

    so basically they bend the whole metal thing for the train to turn? Is this some more special bendy metal than the regular track or just regular track being bent over and over by large forces? If its the second, doesn't the metal get worn out quickly by being bent 9001 times per day in every direction?
