Mackinac Island sits in Lake Huron, between Michigan’s Upper and Lower peninsulas. Mackinac Island State Park, with trails, woods and the limestone Arch Rock formation, covers most of the island. Founded in 1780, Fort Mackinac is a walled cluster of military buildings on a coastal bluff.

It’s pronounced Fort Mackinaw even though it’s spelled Mackinac.

The people that own hotels and businesses at Mackinac Island are snobby do not go spend your dollars elsewhere.. Very snobby
That has never been my experience while there.
To listen to that comment that's people are snobby on that island you're totally wrong people are they do not they don't do that on that island
