10000 % agree, les paul sound, feeling, intensity, favorite Sambora solo even if all London 95 'solos are great Where can we find this London dry county? It's not on the London dvd... Thanks
No one does better backing vocals than Richie Sambora. Huge songwriter, SINGER and guitarrist. He makes the guitar bleed, yell, sing with so much passion, he is the best of all times!!!
My Top 10 Sambora solos: 1. Dry County 2. Wanted Dead or Alive 3. Stranger in this Town 4. Seven days gone 5. Bed of Roses 6. Born to be my Baby 7. Father Time 8. The Answer 9. Runaway 10. I'll be there for you Yes these are subjective, but a trade mark Sambora solo isn't based solely on how fast, or slow its played, but the feel, mood and soul BEHIND what's being played per whatever fits the song.
I take it you mean the composition and I agree. But it’s also hard to find him play a bad one live. Rarely makes any kind of meaningful/noticeable mistakes. Great player.
@@Woody991 and even when he does, he just has that natural "flow" and manages to give personality to those mistakes! He can muffle a note and not lose the rhythm at all, so he can just add that "I intended to do that" without it being noticeable. Definitely an underrated guitarist and composer and also a gifted musician. He also has a great voice, so he has the whole package!
Richie is one of my all time fave guitar players all his solos are amazing even his solo albums are great...my number 1 fave is the solo for as my guitar lies bleeding
Yes, that solo is beautiful and fits the lyrics so perfectly. That is what makes him so great! He doesn’t have to be flashy. His playing accompanies the lyrics. That is what he said in an interview and that is what he shows time after time!
A great and under-rated player, he's left a huge hole in Bon Jovi. That solo in Dry County worthy of any 70s guitar here and played with so much more soul and feel than his contemporary 80s shredders.
Saludos!

What a wonderful feeling from 7:38. It demonstrates that Guitarist must not be necessarily virtuoso and technical, many times the heart thinks and the hands do.... Thanks Richard for you notes!
Dry County as No.1 solo is spot on. That’s in fact one of the greatest solo i’ve heard an seen. I would say that solo is at the same level as Guns and Roses November Rain and Estranged.
One the finest guitar player in the industry, exquisite solos and a very singular sound. Sambora was the key of success for bon jovi, no doubt about that.

The Keep The Faith scene reminded me of a "jugalbandi" (entwined twins) in India where two musicians are independent of each other, yet fully dependent on each other. And that's when the music reaches spiritual levels of ecstasy. This is what has happened between Richie and Tico. Remarkable performance, just brilliant ❤

Richie Sambora so,so,so underrated as a musian. One helluva a guitarist. One helluva songwriter. One helluva a strong voice singer. One helluva BJ band member and one helluva solo artist. Full package musician. Rock on, Richie🎸
Same here, I'm not superhardcore Bon Jovi fan but they do have some amazing songs with perfect solos and Dry County is more that a solo, it's just story told musically after those verses and chorus and in the end nice and slow landing from musical sky back on earth and in his arms.

Was at the Wembley show back in 1995 were Richie is featured playing Dry County here! Didn't really appreciate it for what it was at the time. It is absolutely breathtaking!!!
Tasteful, stylish, highly melodic; but let's face it...DRY COUNTY is likely the fastest he's ever played. Sambora SHREDDED that solo. You know Eddie Van Halen heard that lead and grinned; "I see you, Richie. I see you."

10000 % agree, les paul sound, feeling, intensity, favorite Sambora solo even if all London 95 'solos are great

I absolutely agree and if more people would just listen to his work with an open mind and ears, they surely would have to agree.
Dry county probably one of the best solos of all time.
Gerardo definitely.
and tico goin ham on the drums ... love it :D
I think I might have been there for that performance
@@anonymerNameAlla Sometimes I feel like Tico is the unsung hero of the Bon Jovi band :)
Gerardo it’s up there with Free Bird, Hotel California, and Stairway to Heaven.
My Top 10 Sambora solos:
1. Dry County

Richie Sambora is the reason why I love lead guitarists 😄
My guitar lies bleeding in my arms. That solo is perfect. No filler notes in it. Every note has a purpose
Phenomenal solo. One of his best
It's hard to find a bad Richie sambora solo to be honest, the guys a legend.

Dry county solo was amazing.
That solo is f###ing nuts.
"Hearts breaking even" have wonderful solos too!
Dry County. Bon Jovi's magnum opus and a legendary classic. That long running solo is impeccable!
I think his best solo is Always in Wembley 1995.
That’s solo was very emotional and beautiful play.
It's the same one, Wembley is in London...
Exactly... All songs!! From start to the end!!!
I agree
The outro solo
You give love a bad name???
Everybody forgets the solo on the openning song of "Slippery when Wet": "Let it Rock", fantastic solo
Absolutely, so powerful!!

Richie's solo on Stranger in this town is fantastic.
I missed the Blaze of Glory in London in 1995. Richie plays it wildly. Richie to me has always been the heart of the band. 🇧🇷🇺🇸🎸
Dry County as No.1 solo is spot on. That’s in fact one of the greatest solo i’ve heard an seen. I would say that solo is at the same level as Guns and Roses November Rain and Estranged.

No. The key is always the quality of the songs.
I don't think he was key to their success, but he was key to making them a respectable band, and not a pure pop band.
Jesus Guerra rhat's right
