Thanks Carson, I had replied to you earlier but for some reason it didn't take!?! I had that with a few other as well. Anyways, it has been fun finding all of these things and assembling this collection. I have some fun ideas for videos in 2020 so stay tuned!
Thanks Living History 66 and you are welcome. Hopefully it was worth the wait. I thought about doing a two part video etc. but figured what the heck...Thanks again!
Sorry for not replying JonBoy...I replied a few days ago and for some reason it did not take! Thanks for the comments and I look forward to hopefully hooking up with you at the SOS! I will be in touch as we get closer to see if something will work out.
It was a long wait and I do apologize!!! It seemed like every time I was ready, something would come up. I was actually pretty sick that day, suffering from a stupid head cold that I had since before Christmas but I wasn't going to put it off any more! As I type this I have been diagnosed with an ear infection? I thought that was a kids thing but I have been proven wrong? Anyways, thanks for watching and commenting. I am glad you enjoyed it and here is to good hunting in 2020!
You certainly did and you have some great stuff. It is amazing to meet fellow collectors and see/learn about all of their/your unique items. I look at all of us a special community of preservers of history as there are those who would love to see this stuff simply fade away! Keep going and good luck in 2020 (keep sharing also as I love to see what you have found...if I don't get back right away don't take it personally as insta and I are not the best of friends haha!
Thanks Nehemiah Hires. I am so glad to finally have it under my belt. I have small windows in which to film and I kept being beaten up by stupid sick stuff...nothing serious...just stupid! It has really been fun putting it all together and I have discovered two important things! 1) It is amazing at all of the militaria that is still out there waiting to find a new home...2) It is amazing how many things have simply been given to me by people who appreciate my displays, program, etc. I plan on doing a video pretty quick about how to share your collection, etc. Anyways, thanks again!
Glad you liked it. I am glad to share as I feel that is half the fun of collecting! Unfortunately I am hitting that point of no more room. It is forcing me to make some hard choices but I made a solemn promise to myself that I wouldn't become a collector who piles stuff on top of stuff on top of stuff simply to "own it." In other words, I don't want to become a militaria hoarder! Once again, thanks and here is to a successful 2020!
lovely collection you got going there enjoyed the video brilliant Sir, I also have a German Paratroopers Gravity knife, I found it in some tools I bought a few years back :)
Thanks MRFRANKSTANKS RUKFOUL! Those knives are just amazing. It seems like the best finds come from piles of tools or old tool boxes! Congrats on the find. Mine came to me in a very round about way...my wife's Uncle remarried (long and sad story about his first wife). Anyways, his new wife did not have any children, etc. and she was trying to figure out what to do with her father's war items (he was in the U.S. Army during WW2). My Uncle-In-Law knew I collected and suggested she give me the items. She agreed and among them was the knife that he captured and brought back! Unfortunately she had other "souvenirs" of his she had already parted with but this she had kept and passed on to me. It will never leave my collection and will be passed on to my kids in the future! Thanks again and here's to a happy new year of collecting!
Man I love your collection room I hope I can do that in the future also you never think you have a big collection till you start sperating it all and sorting lol anyways nice hope to see more this year, New year new collection happy hunting
Thanks Millguy42 and you are so correct! I fear ever having to move. It doesn't look like much when it is stored, on display, etc. but I can't imagine having to pack it all and haul it onto the back of a moving van/lorry! More videos will be coming and happy hunting to you as well!
That is true 35th SanteFe...one problem on some of them, however, is that there is no glass on the back, just the wooden access door. Thanks for the comment!
Amazing Collection!!!

If its a rear loading glass cabinet you could just turn it around. Just another tip.

Amazing!!
Thanks Hayley! And thanks for helping me fix the problem!
A video on the flak vests would be cool
Hey Brandon...I will put it into my list of videos. I think I will do one on vests and helmets! Thanks for the suggestion.
