    for the record (since i know the audience of this vid is the sort who would appreciate it) "diazo" is not pronounced "dee-ah-zoh" but "die-AY-zoh" (it is a chemical prefix)

  • @matthewoconnor3362

    It should be made clear for the viewers that even though the simulation has UH at around 95%, it's basically impossible for you to lose. You're going to use the K for the triple with the worst case being something like KOIS and that's enough to withstand a play like JOLLY from Jesse and a Z play. The reason the sim has it at 95% is because it imagines you fishing off the U and Jesse hitting ZOCALO which is never going to actually happen

    Hey Will you are an amazing story teller and just extremely great to listen to. I had 0 interest in this game before this since I’m awful at spelling lol. You have given me so much insight into a competitive game I’d never otherwise know anything about other than the random news article about whatever language Nigel Richard’s won a tournament in (I used to legit think those were hoaxes being spread until your channel explained the whole story). You will do great in November and I know you have it in you to clash with the likes of Nigel

    I've been enjoying your videos for a while now, Will and have been wondering how long players take to decide what to play. Your short, quick videos are great but it seems to me (an absolute novice) that players instantly think of these words. It would be nice to know every now and again how long players agonise over words. Keep up the good work!

      Oh, if you see a tournament match in the various broadcasts made available, you'll find that clock management is a crucial component of a top-level game, particularly in the interest of going quickly in the early game to analyze the late plays for maximized odds of victory.

      @wanderer15  13 дней назад +1

      Thank you for the nice comments! You're not the first person to inquire about whether I could add time usage to the game recaps. For livestreamed games, it's definitely possible, but I haven't figured out exactly how to display it on a turn by turn basis. Something for me to consider.

      @@wanderer15perhaps if a play was particularly fast or slow then just give it a mention. You did say in this video you thought you took too long thinking of possible words and I found that added an extra level of jeopardy!
