    For those interested we have been using this vacuum as our main vacuum since September 2023 and have experienced the following:
    --- December 2023 the battery failed and we had to get a replacement unit
    --- December 2024 the battery failed again!
    I love this vacuum and so does my wife... lightweight and easy to maneuver but not having a removable battery is a big deal since clearly there is a defect and if the battery craps out you have to replace the whole unit. I hope others don't have our luck because this is a fantastic vacuum not withstanding its battery issues. If you are going to buy this unit after reading this I would HIGHLY recommend purchasing an extended warranty and keep all documentation as you would most likely need to use it!!

      This vacuums major weak point is its battery long term. We have used it daily since September 2023 and the battery failed in December 2023 and then again today (December 2024) lol

    I bought a Tineco One a couple of years ago without realising how spotty their support and availablity are in the UK. It was only when I went to get the separate hard wood floor attachment and discovered they were only available from Ali Express for £80 plus another £40 shipping (about $150) I realised my mistake. As such I'll never buy another Tineco

      We got the Tineco and I looked at the Samsung in a store. The Tineco feels slightly better made, is a bit lighter and more ergonomic, and it works wonderfully with long hair and pet stuff. My sister has little birds that need material to build nests and the Tineco picks it all up without clogging. It's also a bit more stable while maneuvering.
      Pros for the Samsung - a lot stronger suction, but the battery will age faster and not last as long. Also, the Samsung Cleanstation is not as tall and a bit more elegant, while the Tineco looks more futuristic and stores the accessories. It's a tad bit easier to place the vacuum into the Station on the Samsung, but you need to shorten/elongate the rod every time.
      Last but not least, after a month of use the HEPA filter on the Tineco looks like new, despite no extra sponge prefilter...so I suppose their HEPA cleaning claim works. The bagless system also works perfectly, another pro over the Samsung... I don't see the need for a bag, except if you are really allergic to something.

      @@outlaw6313 Thank you very much for the detailed feedback. I actually went with the Samsung because Costco had it for sale for close to $400. I agree with the points you mentioned, also another thing is with Samsung sometimes I have a hard time going over rugs so I don't know if that is the same with Tineco. And another thing is yes as you mentioned you have to buy the bags for Samsung, but the good thing is you don't have to deal with cleaning the bin which is a benefit for people who are allergic to dust. Overall it is a good vacuum however I still don't know how good it is in comparison to Tineco

    Tineco finally solved their filtration weakness. I'm not a fan of pouch batteries because it is more fragile than cylindrical, but then, Tineco may have a point that by the time pouch batteries become bulging degraded, the battery capacity may likely to be too low and need replacing anyway. Weird they only use 4 cells resulting to 14.4 volts for the motor, so this vacuum likely weaker than anything in this price range. I think for the same money, I'd take another vacuum from other brands. Dyson V15 costs the same as this

    • @battery_wattage
      @battery_wattage 9 месяцев назад

      @@_Lassic_ there aren’t that many bags that provide 99.97% filtration down to 0.3 microns that are super cheap. Most will buy cheaper bags anyway the same way people buy regular gas with no additives. And the premium bagged vacuums with excellent filtration have a dedicated hepa filter which is disposable most of the time. If bagless will “always have inferior filtration”, how is it that the current premium Dysons are the only consumer vacuums on the market that provide 99.97% down to .1 microns that I’m aware of?
      I still don’t understand what people mean by less maintenance with bagged machines. You have to get a new bag every time it’s full. Bagless vacuums on the other hand have had 100% washable filters for years now. My Dyson cordless has had no replacement part maintenance for almost four years now. All I do is wash the filter aside from normal emptying and declogging.

    Also wouldn’t it be helpful to do a dust corner pickup test? As a matter of fact dust likes to collect in the corners and so far you don’t do any corner pickup tests

    Definitely not cheap! The detachable battery is a big issue for me. I just had to replace my cordless stick because the batteries were weak and when I tried to take it apart I had to cut the case open only to find out the unit was basically designed around odd sized batteries. I might have been able to run them down BUT just decided to throw it away rather than go to that much hassle. I am assuming this is made in China and China is notorious for low quality batteries. They can crow all they want about their battery technology but I would take all such claims with a grain of salt.

      just bought and found this out the hard way. Other that that, the vacuum is quite… good. I had a Jet 90 it was replacing that only lasted 2 years and the Jet 90 at the time had some of the strongest CFM suction of any cordless vacuum. Compared to the Tineco, the Pure One on MAX has noticeably even more suction through the wand than the Jet 90. On a light carpet vacuuming of dog hair that hasn’t been done in several days, I went back over with a large corded carpet vacuum and it only picked up about 1/3 of a cup of more hair/sand. I am definitely impressed with the pickup capabilities on all surfaces with just one roller.
