As an arsenal fan, i have a lot of hope in you and hope you go as far as you can in the league. But at the same time I also really want arsenal to win the league so I have that little 5 percent of me that wants you to not do well. It's a very big long shot but I'd love to see Villa go the whole way and do it. Would just be so fun to see a different team win it. Go on Villa, do it for the vibes
I just discovered your channel. You have amazing energy and it’s so nice to see you truly understand why Aston Villa are this good. Yet some pundits think it’s an overnight success. Great video mate. Thank you!
As villa fans it’s a blanket statement that we’re not entertaining the conversation. If the media want to push it then let them. Top four however is a real prospect that a lot of us believe to be realistic.
As a villa fan, obviously don’t think we will win the league, but while we keep up this form we are in the conversation, topping our conference league group was huge so we have no European games until March, hopefully we end year on a high, united away is always difficult for us
The season where Leicester won the league is the year where Arsenal could have won as well as i believe they finished second and were well within the reach of the title with players like Sanchez and Ozil having a good partnership and their strikers getting goals. It was their golden chance that year but they bottled it at the end and Leicester ran away with the title. Something similar could happen this year
Unlikely to happen this year purely because that season Leicester won didn't have much competition, most of the top teams were poor and Leicester could've dropped 9 points and still won the league on 72 points which would be the lowest ever for a title winner, they were the best of a bad bunch. In contrast to that season, teams are dropping points this season because there are so many elite teams who can take points off each other. Villa won't be able to top the league by being decent surrounded by poorly performing teams, they have to grind out the results against lots of elite competition
@@Ben-gd4dbYeah. Cuz Pep with Man City and Jurgen with Liverpool wouldn't let their team drop points quite easily. I think they will be going on winning streaks by the end of the 2023/24 season.

It's great to see. Not one of the leagues 'money' clubs. They've still spent a good amount but nothing like the usual suspects. Proving you can put together a winning team while not being able to compete financially with the top dogs. Really refreshing to see another name up the top end. Was good seeing Newcastle crack the top 4 last year as well.
Yes but the difference is underdogs can't keep it up. They might produce a miracle like Leicester but then what? Their best players will go yo the rich clubs and they'll fall off.
Honestly I think it will come down to away form. It may not feel like it rn but we won't win every home game this year, and we will need big away points and so far we've ridden our luck with not playing amazing and while we've come a long way from Newcastle and Liverpool at the start of the season I think we'd really struggle at the etihad or the emirates. But we are nearly there and if we can get over the line and perform as well away why not?
The away form is better than you think, Villa are 6th in the away table, only 2 points behind city, arsenal and liverpool. Most people only look at Villa's away results and ignore the fact everyone else is dropping points away also. In the second half of the season they'll only have City, Arsenal, West Ham, and Brighton away who are in the top 10. The remaining 5 away games in the second half of the season will consist of bottom half teams
Thing thats thrown me about our form is how many blues fans are begrudgingly praising us online. Banter aside, its massive praise when your biggest rivals are putting their hands up and going ok, fine, youre doing well
Villa fan here, I am not counting my chickens just loving whats happening, but i would like to point out a comment you made in your video. you said Villa don't have a squad like city. I would argue when we played city we had a much stronger squad in that game, we brought on diaby (france international) ramsey (one of englands euro title winning best under 21 internationals) durran (columbian international) and still had cash, lenglet, dendonker and zaniolo all starters for poland france belgium and italy respectively who did not even get on. All the teams in the Top 4 have dropped points in shocking games this season. The top is looking very mercurial. It depends on who gets the best reinforcements this transfer window
No squad has enough depth to cope with key injuries. City, Spurs and Newcastle are struggling because of injuries. Villa have lost 3 times this season, twice in the opening 4 games and injuries were a major factor. Squad sizes are limited, we have a similar amount of players as those around us, we have 24 senior pros and most of them are internationals. We played Brentford of the park at the weekend without Mings, Buendia, Digne, Luiz or Teilemans and Moreno and Ramsey making their first starts after barely kicking a ball all season. We are the same as every other team, our form will suffer if we get too many injuries to the wrong players.
I'm just dreading hearing from the Birmingham City fans when we loose to a last minute handball inflicted by Jude Bellingham in do-or-die game in the group of death next year.
Good news for you then, that won't happen. You won't be in the group of death next year. Actually, you won't be in any other group next year either because there will be no groups.
Loving villa ATM, had so many ups and downs over the years, getting demoted to the championship, then coming back up, struggling to still find form in the premiership... Then selling jack grealish.. then having Steven g as manger.. glad that that didn't work out, but I'm glad villa are where they should be cause they have got some really good players, but to beat, spurs, Chelsea, arsenal, man city all at home, Liverpool and Newcastle need revenge! 😂
I’m a Villa fan, I’m in dreamland, can we win the PL? I guess anything is possible but enjoying the ride… I started the season, hoping we wouldn’t go down, so anything is a bonus then going down…
It seems Villa needs Leon Bailey to come good in most coming ahead. He seems to be the one kick starting a goal or a comeback. I like Diaby but he runs in a straight line so easy for fast defender to defend against. Nonetheless, those two has to be good for Villa to have a chance.
The only reason Villa went under the radar so long was because Gerrard was in charge first 8 games last season - they would probably have made top five last season had that not been the case and people would have cottoned on to their credentials alot sooner.
Irish guy said he made this prediction in middle school and still feels stupid about it. be smarter than the Irish guy, you can do it I believe in you.

Kinda crazy to think if Goal Line technology working on that day against Sheffield United back in lock down, they would have been relegated and would likely not be in this situation. The butterfly effect
I've heard this argument a lot but realistically it's an unknown, Villa could have responded as it would have been a different game no one knows, maybe if it happened in the 90th minute but it was still the first half of the game. Still interesting to think about though!
