    STORYLINE:
    German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier expressed his sympathy for the victims of the Istanbul bombing and pledged Berlin's support to Turkey on Tuesday .
    Steinmeier also called for a speedy investigation into the attack which he said killed eight Germans and wounded nine others.
    In Tuesday's attack, a suicide bomber affiliated with the Islamic State group detonated a bomb in a historic district of Istanbul popular with tourists, killing at least 10 people and wounding 15 others, Turkish officials said.
    The head of Berlin travel agency Lebenslust Touristik said that some of the victims of the suicide bombing in Istanbul had booked their trip through his office.
    Marco Scherer said the group of 33 travellers were on a trip to Istanbul, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
