Howard Cosell was the greatest sports journalist of the 20th century and probably of all time. No man has ever been better at capturing a moment. You won't see his life again.

I love how Howard Cosell emphasized Jerry Kramer's contribution on the Bart Starr touchdown. It was key.
    Howard loved Lombardi.

Amazing how Howard Cosell could sound incredibly bombastic and over-the-top and yet immeasurably compelling at the same time.....unforgettable voice of American SPORTS.

My dad, brothers, and I just loathed The Mouth. Dandy Don, OTOH....

Fun fact: The music that starts at about 2:00 is Garry Owen, the music to which George Armstrong Custer went into battle.

You sure about that? It's music composed by Jerry Goldsmith for the George C. Scott film Patton.

@@ZZSmithReal Pretty sure. I just listened to Garyowen - Civil War tune (Fife and Drum version) on RUclips and they sound the same to me.
But I am not betting serious money on it...

4:15 you can very clearly see that Jerry Kramer moved before Ken Bowman snapped the ball.
