    Cano, Ellis, and JT all have pretty good cut and roll shots with this style. Could a follow on vid to the flat bag be one on cut/roll with this style? Also, would love to see some airmail execution analysis with this style.

    Great video, thanks! I definitely try to incorporate the finger blast and I also wrap my index finger around the front and take my pinky off the back and tuck it under the bag

      @@Eaaatlife this is exactly that. You have to adopt an effective flat bag technique to be accurate.

      @@CornholeNetwork I’m not sure, I think a flat bag is overrated. I’ve seen plenty of tilted and ugly looking bags beat flat bag throwers. Because accuracy is key. Sure a flat bag can be more consistent. But it’s overrated.

    • @CornholeNetwork
      @CornholeNetwork  27 дней назад +1

      @ at a mid level of cornhole I would agree, but at the high level of the sport bag tilt and rotation is a tool used for shot making. If a player throws with a tilted bag unintentionally they are at the mercy of a certain cutting action and a less predictable response when it hits the board resulting in less consistency. In our experience a flatter bag is more forgiving when it hits the board, tracking straighter with predictable friction, making it perform more accurately overall. This is our experience but of course there are always exceptions and outliers.
      We may do a future episode about accuracy and why we think a flat bag is important. Appreciate your input.

      @@Eaaatlife So I played 4 years of Pro Cornhole. There are some racers who don't throw a flat bag. They are still usually pretty close. Even players like Daymon Dennis throw flattish. And they throw with CONSISTENCY. So their bag does the same, predictable thing every time it lands. If you want to throw and accurate bag, you will need to throw a bag with consistent bag angle, consistent arc/height and land in the same spot on the board. I work on my accuracy throwing airmails. If you can hit a 6X6 spot on the board and your bag has the same angle when it hits the board, you'll end up with predictable results. Flat bags have much more predictability though.

    Is this style good with any speed of bag? Or slower? Like 3/4

    • @CornholeNetwork
      @CornholeNetwork  24 дня назад

      @@charliefarley8801 it is good with faster bags too. The lower release makes for a smaller arc and you will find the bag is less likely to slide off the back of the board.

    Didn't Baldwin throw this way?

    • @erictscherne5255
      @erictscherne5255 27 дней назад

      Baldwin throws a bit like this. He is very upright though. Not really bent down and forward. He also tends to whip across his body more than the players of today. The short backswing and quick twitch muscle use is very similar.
