I started playing Minecraft around 2012 and I never really stopped. Sure, I also experienced the times when the other kids said it was stupid and dumb etc. but I never really made anything of it. I am close to my early 20s, and Minecraft has never lost its charm to me. I keep playing this game and am not planning to stop any time soon
I heard of minecraft many years ago when it blew up in the media and immediately dismissed it as a joke. From the initial screenshot I saw- it didn’t appeal in any way to me. Like many others, I thought the game was for children. Under 13 year olds were who would find any joy in this game I thought.
Last year I bought a Switch and decided to download Minecraft out of a pack of affordable games mainly - on the eshop that I could afford. I don’t know what happened, but something clicked. I realized I hadn’t enjoyed playing *any* video game like i use to - until I began minecraft. The freedom to build, the sense of peace while just existing in the space you’ve created. It became a place I would *visit* when I played. It was the truest escapism I’d felt in years.
I dismissed minecraft as a game for children and when I got over my narrow mindedness- discovered the greatest game -today and forever - that I had ever experienced.
Minecraft is a game for kids - *at heart.*

I have been playing Minecraft for almost 10 years now. When I was a little kid, Minecraft had come out on mobile devices. My older cousins played it and introduced me to it and before long I've played a lot of it from building huge brick hotels, U.S. landmarks, etc. It has now been three years since this video was published and Minecraft has come so far and I cannot wait to see more amazing updates in the future! :)

When I was 4, me and my 7 year old brother started playing Minecraft and we loved it. I still play Minecraft to this day and I still love playing it. I love Minecraft. I Started out on console but switched to pocket edition, and when ur loading into worlds it tells you stuff about the game. I play a lot of minecraft and something that boosted my love for minecraft is mods,they just made the game better and fun. They added stronger mobs and even small minor details that made a big impact.
I started off with xbox 360 and I became in love, i would spend hours playing it. After like 2 years I bought pocket edition and it was amazing. Shortly after I convinced my mom to buy be java edition and it made a huge difference, even if I was the one who convinced my friends to play minecraft I got it on java last but when I got it it felt like I was in a whole new world. I joined a server with my friends and some other people. It was a fun time where we trolled each other and had war but then everyone stopped playing and I was left alone until we started playing skyblock and we had so much fun. I also found out about how to download mods and that opened a new life for myself. I continued playing modded and also with my friends and it's still amazing.

I remember how i played Minecraft on ps3 with my older brother teaching me stuff about the game and my eyes just shining looking at all those blocks. These were the good old times... (we still play together, hes the best)
2020 should be the year that Minecraft comes back. I mean there are great games but Minecraft; you could build, create structures with you’re imagination, and play with friends. Minecraft was open to everyone but if Minecraft did make a impact to the gaming community there would be a surprising number of youtubers go back to the game.

I remember in 3rd grade I got a ps4 and the first games I got where assasians creed cod ghosts and Minecraft. I remember coming home from after school program to play Minecraft with my sister

Minecraft is doing better than most other games because they’re focusing on the community, letting the fans choose what happens. There aren’t many horrible, disgusting memes (I’m looking at you Among Us…) that ruin peoples imagination. They makes big updates, and you can do so much in this expansive sandbox game. You’re able to play it on many consoles, and dozens, maybe even hundreds of RUclipsrs play it to this day. And the nostalgia in this game, just don’t get me started

Almost a adult and still playing Minecraft, well some times.
Me and my friends use to play Minecraft pe all the time, and when I wasn’t playing with my friends I was on Minecraft Pc on servers (my friends don’t have Minecraft pc), I use to play for hours and hours on Minecraft it was endless fun, it heck one of the best moments of my entire life. As I grew up I played less of the game but never thought of it as lame or dumb. I still play Minecraft sometimes but it doesn’t have that magical feeling to it anymore, you know? The memories of winning in hunger games, survival worlds and controlling factions were awesome!
I will never forget this game and I’ll never look down at it. Minecraft is one of the best games ever!
