Reality shows are not scripted. When actors when on strike years ago with SAG. Thats when reality shows came about. The producers just play on the lives of the women that’s why they have to have a story lines, something for them to work with. But knowing how messy Kenya is I don’t put this passed her. She did the same thing when planning a charity event for Nene and did not discuss it with Nene. And Nene was angry with Kenya and did not show up until Cynthia convinces her to come.

Cynthia who has constantly tried to find a niche and some relevance, now in a comfortable place, always has some sort of gibberish to contribute and messy, gossiping Kandi, who really doesn’t care about any of them, are Kenya’s latest latch-ons and best friends until she feels she can maneuver to pull out ahead of them. I often say that I hope this is just a mean girl role in a scripted tv show, otherwise Kenya needs serious help. There is a reason her husband responds to her the way he does; first, he had no interest in the show but was required for her to be allowed back; he has seen and yet sees her interactions with the cast and observes the obvious, to which he makes known he is not interested in the drama. Kenya should not have been allowed back.
I've been binge watching these. I think Eva and Cynthia is the most healthy friendship on this show. They clearly respect each other as women and one another's opinions.

Marlo bringing her nephews to the event was beautiful. The way they were dressed and the way she spoke to them was amazing. The only “classless” person in that situation was Ken. She should have offered a women with two minors the best seats, especially if she cares so much about charity and helping people like she claims.

To be honest, this was a high class philanthropic event to raise money for charity, not a place for kids. Marlo didn't even purchase her ticket, therefore she didn't even contribute to the purpose of the event. Marlo should have enrolled her nephews in the actual charity, not bring them to an event where every chair is accounted for, paid for and reserved. And she didn't even RSVP.
