@@MatiasVDoolan I think mau5 and prydz are about equal. Both advanced in their own way. I mean you look at both of their studios and it’s unique to them personally in their own way. You take a Swedish producer and a Canadian/American producer your gonna get a different taste. Though I lean towards mau5 since he was the first edm artist I listened to when I was 9 yrs old.
@@MichaellleahciMIt's not about the style. Prydz make different genres. It's a more complete producer. He did Opus, he did Call on Me (a global hit, yet, keeping his style), as Pryda he also have his own Prog House style (listen to The Reason, The Drive, Shadows, etc). Not only that, he make more underground (techno, again keeping his signature) music with the alias Cirez D.
haha thats funny to see you watching these videos, what a coincidence. I love your vids and wrxfans. Just watched your c6 review today actually. keep it up man!
Just got back from a festival this weekend where I got to see Eric Prydz for the second time. I saw both him and Deadmau5 at EDCLV21. You were the first person I heard EDC from, so thank you!
Coffee runs from deadmau5 teaches me the lifestyle of an artist, there mindset and how human they are just like anyone else. I suddenly want to watch a coffee run from all my favorite artists
HAHA FINALLY Joel gets the taste of his own medicine when Erik isn't paying attention to a word hes saying 17:15 lol...he always does that to his coffee run guest, and to top it off makes them pay lol.
a big part of why i watch these is to see the reactions of the ppl walking by.. ppl literally screaming his name as he drives by and he doesnt even blink.
+A Rainbow Nigga he is not, everyone knows he is a fcking god. However, you might think he is underrated because he has not gone mainstream like skrillex, but thats a good thing
I love these coffee runs :) Loved to see A-Trak, Diplo, Armand Van Helden, Axwell, Paul Oakenfold etc.. Also Eric sounds almost British, like Armin can get a brit accent.. Maybe it's because they spend a lot of time here? Which is a good thing ha ha, love all the DJs though :)
Brad Mehlenbacher No themselves not, no one actual considers themselves as king or something like that, that would be quite selfish, but I'm a big fan of Progressive House, which is what Eric makes. And his style is so good, it's so different, makes me see him as a very big idol.
***** Agreed they are great, give Sasha and Digweed in their post-trance days a listen and see what you think, they're well revered in the progressive house scene. Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo are massive too in today's modern age of progressive house.
18:13 Eric talking about Holo, little did he know it was going to be a huge success 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I just saw it yesterday in Mexico City and it's mind-blowing.
Agreed. I was thinking the same thing, he basically ignored nearly everybody who was yelling out to him, almost as if its a routine thing and he doesn't care anymore lol.
spinosaur19 Agreed. Hearing your stage name all the time but never being recognized for your true self must be pretty depressing. But Joel is awesome, so he probably just goes on another coffee run when he is down and realizes that he is the shit then.
clhockeydude Exactly. When these Celebrities are greeted by their real names instead of their Stage names, they probably realize that you're a true Fan instead of some punk kid that over-idolizes them or one that doesn't listen to their music and is basically making fun of them and they probably take satisfaction to the fans that know their real names.
16:28 When fame goes from fun and games to "Oh shit, am I safe?" It's because of that, I try to limit my excitement to an energetic wave of the hand at best. Like I'm excited to meet people, but I want that to be as fun for whoever I meet as it is for me as a fan. A mutually enjoyable moment is infinitely better than a love bomb. Knowing that I have reciprocated some joy, breaking through the monotony to share something meaningful is the best feeling.
This is hilarious, Deadmau5 worked in a cannery, Eric Prydz was a telemarketer and Calvin Harris worked in a supermarket. Now suddenly they all have Net Worths north of 5 million dollars.
You need a hearing aid or something as a person who lives in England that sounds NOTHING like any of the dozens of accents in England nor does it sound like any Scottish, Welsh or Irish accent. You can tell his accent is more like PewDiePie's accent (who is Swedish) as opposed to any British/Irish accent AND you can CLEARLY tell it is not British/Irish when he says certain words like OK (1:35) He CLEARLY sounds like a European person who does not natively speak English but knows good English and has a good English speaking accent
i have a hell of a lot of respect and love for eric prydz have done since call on me and it will now never ever ever change either long may the eric prydz machine continue
hahaha he asks what mau5 what have you been up to today? he just goes "nuthin just playin diablo, reaper of souls came out the other day so ive just been upgrading my wizard" lol gotta love him
a collab would between these to dons of dance music would be sick! (couldn't ever see it happen though) Joel should definitely go more darker and get some Techno made!
Have you not heard any of deadmau5's minimal techno sets he's been doing recently? absolutely incredible. listen to his one at cream amnesia the other week
i have never heard eric prydz speak until the day. hell i wouldn't even recognize him on the street because i've never really seen his face like that. but his sound...extraordinary.
It`s funny how when he`s in Toronto no one really shouts deadmau5 or freaks out even with zedd in his purrai - but then when he coffee runs somewhere else it`s like fiodfhnoeflcfaafa;;agacgg
I am pretty sure the second they locked eyes in the hotel, they had a huge violent "anything goes" fight to get all of the animosity out. Somebody won and seriously gloated over the loser, then they separated for a little while at separate ends of the hotel room and then the victor reflected and felt guilty and then they made up and spent two hours talking about how much they admire each other deep down inside. Then there was an awkward fanboy moment that went both ways and hugs and then this drive happened ....... just saying
Gotta love that South Florida traffic! ;) And yes man, during wmc you need to expect fandom spotting.you like that. It's funny how the man in the mask gets more spots than Eric did. :3
Never seen someone bossing deadmau5 as much as Eric Prydz does... Deadmau5 has a lot of respect for Pryda
as he should when he meet somebody with an actual brain
Cause prydz is as musically advanced as he is
@@MichaellleahciM Prydz is on another level. Way superior than any producer from the world

s/o, you rock!
Lol thought it was you. Probably getting a Subaru soon cause you. My wallet hates you.
Just got back from a festival this weekend where I got to see Eric Prydz for the second time. I saw both him and Deadmau5 at EDCLV21. You were the first person I heard EDC from, so thank you!
To get Deadmau5's attention rather than yell his alias yell, "Look it's Martin Garrix!!!" lmao you'll definitely get his attention.
Or... "Look it's Halcyon441" haha
or u know, i love prog house, esp. Martin Garrix
It's funny because there are alot of people, who recognize him and he's trying so hard to ignore them.
Right! Lol
First time I've heard Eric Prydz speak!!
u never listened promo Prydz tracks on BBC with Pete Tong?
Never listened to his Epic radio? Head over to his channel on SoundCloud!
ooooljoooo I will!!!
Eric- "I need to get a license"
Deadmau5- "WHUUUUUUUUUT!!!"
That's funny because Joel just got his license less than a year ago lol
Coffee runs from deadmau5 teaches me the lifestyle of an artist, there mindset and how human they are just like anyone else. I suddenly want to watch a coffee run from all my favorite artists
Eric Prydz set at Ultra was the best from the weekend, still listening to it
Eric saying TV games make me chuckle :D
Fan: OH MY GOD ITS DEADMOUSE ITS DEADMOUSE!!!!
Joel: Really -_-
Erik: I think they want to sleep with you.
😂😂😳😳😳
HAHA FINALLY Joel gets the taste of his own medicine when Erik isn't paying attention to a word hes saying 17:15 lol...he always does that to his coffee run guest, and to top it off makes them pay lol.
2 years after this they are playing together on Tomorrowland
The best music that i ever hear in my life thanks guys!
a big part of why i watch these is to see the reactions of the ppl walking by..
ppl literally screaming his name as he drives by and he doesnt even blink.
I just love how Eric has to keep reminding Joel that it's "music week" in Miami lol
16:30 Overly Attached Fangirl.
I think that was a dude judging by what they said afterwards hahahah
”I wanna do an album that dosen’t sounds like a dance compilation”, Eric and deadmau5 two of the few who still keeps it real.
Two legends of electronic music!
Deadmau5 seducing Eric Prydz on 26.30 XD haha
I like Eric's laidback style
-OMG IS DEADMAU5!!!
-Really?
-I think he wants to sleep with you.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL JAJAJAJAJA
HAhahahaahhahahaha 11:00 Joel absolutely didn't listen to him HAHAHA priceless face
soundmute recordings lol
Eric prydz is so fucking underrated. Generate is probably his best work so far
Liberate is not too bad either?
+A Rainbow Nigga he is not, everyone knows he is a fcking god. However, you might think he is underrated because he has not gone mainstream like skrillex, but thats a good thing
think again, breathe and opus are sick
+JNTNDRSN opus is such a great album
gamer22887 opus is pretty much like Strobe 2.0 just happier
I love these coffee runs :)

"they moved a chair now they can fit 12 people" lol
I love these 2 guys... they're finally in one video! :)
Me too!
The skill level in that car is over 9000!
Lmao, Deadmau5 that thing you'd do with the pears is hilarious. Had me cracking up.
How can you dislike this? It's the King of Progressive House!
Lol
What's so funny?
***** I don't think Joel or Eric would ever claim to be kings of progressive house. They're definitely incredible though.

There was not even one person going insane over eric prydz.....
:'( it makes me upset...
it really disappoints me
I am his fan
I would respectfully lose my consciousness if I would see him
16:11 lol.. Prytz : are we actually gonna have a coffee!! ???
deadmau5 and prydz.....like a boss

And yes they do call me Sherlock :)
daveparkk no shit!
Eric Prydz - Miami to Alanta ... deadmau5 - there might be coffee
I see what you did there deadmau5 ;D
I feel bad for you Joel. Must get so sick of driving around and always having people shout out to you. I can see that getting old really quickly.
Agreed. I was thinking the same thing, he basically ignored nearly everybody who was yelling out to him, almost as if its a routine thing and he doesn't care anymore lol.
I think if they said "Hey Joel," he would be a lot friendlier.

He made a nyancat Purrarri so that everybody can identify him. He can't really complain.
I just came back to this. I'll be honest, there's nothing between these boys productions-wise. They're both monster producers.
Eric Prydz was "Dude of the week". Best. Award. EVER :O

The best EDM producers in history, hanging out in a video, this is just amazing.
A colab would be beautiful..
There's something on the way. .www.youredm.com/2014/03/01/eric-prydz-announces-pryda-vs-mau5trap/
Bernard Reis that happened in Miami already. Thursday night in MMW. They were referencing it in the video
"I think she wants to sleep with you, judging for the picth of his voice... Hello!!!"
This is hilarious, Deadmau5 worked in a cannery, Eric Prydz was a telemarketer and Calvin Harris worked in a supermarket. Now suddenly they all have Net Worths north of 5 million dollars.
You have to be hungry to make it lol
Deadmau5 is 50 + mil and last time I checked Harris was nearing 100
Everyone says "Deadmau5", but no one says hey "Eric Prydz!"
hes not as recognizable :)
I think I would have said "Eric Prydz" he's pretty damn recognizable, but I know what you mean.
yeah i probably would have too but lot of people dont know how he looks.
They probably recognize his car TBH haha.
Lmao he gets so uncomfortable with fans, I love it. People need to relax and leave him alone
crazy ones at least, i would just yell YOO DEADMAU5 YOU DA MAN! not OMG ITS DEADMAU5 lol
KRYPT1X I would be soo cool. I'd just call him, Joel. Then probably run after his car screaming "DEADMAU5!!!!!!!!!!!"
joel isnt that bigfor people to be leaving him alone lol and he doesn't get hastle just people notice him and scream like morons maybe ?
Keith Harris He's probably used to it though. I guess being 'The Mau5' occaisionally pisses him off since he's tried to commit career-icide.
16:31 That scream xD
Dudes Swedish but you can hear he has an English accent

Eric prydz = Snus + nicorette gum
eric: "so what are you been doing?"
deadmau5: "ah, uh, Playing Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, just came out the other day"
HAHHA epic xD
Love the straight up answer from deadmau5: i've been playing diablo 3 reaper of souls.
"Not much, I've just been leveling up my wizard." Lol
