Is the time of the ticket valid from when you make it on the machine or from when you validate it. Like can I buy a ticket of 1 hour and then use when I want even the next day as long as I don’t valide it?

You don't explain, what is a 24 hour ticket? I can travel for 24 hours? I must use the ticket within 24 hours?
