This is indeed a good content from the CN side. Can't believe I miss this. Respected the VAs for actually doing this skit and they really fit the theme. Loved the accents. Can't imagine to understand half of it without subtitles, so thanks for the translations and subtitles. The dialects were well-done and indeed a good exposure to Chinese culture. I only practiced Hakka and understand Cantonese to some extent from cultures and exposure and they were already vastly different from those in China. So, yeah, I enjoyed listening this in Chinese accents and they do give a more proper CNY festive.
For a shut-in, Dusk talks a lot. It seems like she gets along with Ling more than Nian. But damn, the CN voices fit them so much and the dialects make them sound so unique too. I'm hoping Ch'en, Swire, and Hoshiguma will have Cantonese. Dusk sounds similar to her JP dub even. Really hope the CN voices come to global.
As someone who understands Cantonese and Mandarin, these dialects sounded like somebody switched dialects mid sentence. Is this what the tag mindbreak feels like?
me imagining nian interact with a character that have a 东北(north east) dialect especially with both known for eating spicy stuff ,i imagined them become friend very quickly
What I kinda don't like about cn dub is the male voice sometimes sounds to high (not drunk). In exchanges for that, I love the soothing voice when they actually sound calm.
dusk speaks sichuanese (one of the wu dialects in china, like shanghai/hangzhou etc. snowsant speaks hangzhounese which is similar to dusk's) that's why you can't understand her since wu dialects are completely different from mandarin (i speak shanghainese and its rly different)
this chinese va kinda goes hard ngl, very cool addition to use dialects too.
It's very cool to introduce even more aspects of Chinese culture, which the CNY events do anyway.

@Noel Harkov Chinese dubbing is divided into Mandarin dubbing and dialect dubbing, each is super interestingヽ(○^㉨^)ノ♪
reason why Qin Shi Huang though may not be a good emperor, yet MUST be the GREATEST
centralized writing system with official language
Been looking for this animation with translation since yesterday. Thank you for translating it!
You're welcome! Knew that this would get less hype than other content, so I had to translate it.

that is how introverts are, they will talk a lot...when they interact with people that can match their wavelength that is.
Thank you for translating the video and explaining the dialects.
You're welcome (:
@@harezora when will you meet nian nian
And dusk dusk

i'm chinese and i didn’t understand a thing. the accents were really well done.
Same here. I can only understand due to the Chinese subtitles that I translated here.
@@harezora woah! u must be really talented to translate that. props to u! 💕
@@veggiesrock200 Thanks! I really liked this content and wanted everyone to watch so I translated it. Subtitling is hard but worth it.
@@harezora totally. i agree with u on that

i love their dialect

Hopefully we will have Yan operators from the different areas.
well it is limited especially for the nian sibling as they only have twelve of them, though i am curious who would appear as the next sibling next
@@fraderiktan1505 I'm especially curious for the chef brother.
I'm a bit biased towards JP VA because I'm more used to it, but these voices are very pleasant to the ears.
AYYY SUZHOUNESE!! My mum’s dialect!
Eight more to go my wallet screams in pain for the future
will wait for 2 dialect from Fuzhou and Fookien
Hopefully there will be, since my dialect is Fuzhou.
All I’m missing is dusk
Can't compare japanese or chinese dub is better, but i have to say chinese dub did it well to. Their voices somekind close as japanese dub.
They're professional voice actors too, so both are very quality and hope we get to experience on global!
@@harezora can't wait to see japanese version of this video

There are times when CN sound much better than JP *Look at Fox Spirit Matchmaker...
If you want to play the game and have more rewards, then try playing at defi warrior
Nice
Now i want the cn dub in global version :(
better hope it happens!
Well, it happened.
Where is this taken from?
Last year's Chinese New Year stream of the Chinese server.
ahh...yes... dragon waifus
The Chinese voices of the sisters as so cute!
Unfortunately I'm so used to JP voices I can't change.
Where is this from?
This is from Arknights Chinese server Chinese New Year stream.
这啥啊!我完全听不懂
wait is this mandarin? i dont understand a thing lmao.
edit: can somewhat understand nian and ling but dusk is beyond me
Not exactly mandarin, since these are Chinese dialects. I don't understand it either. I only read Chinese subtitles and translate from there.
Nian: Sichuanese, Xi: Suzhounese, Ling: Shaanxi dialect. None of them speak Mandarin

Can anyone please tell me what dialect is this-? 🤣
it's in the description ^^
陕西关中话,属于北方官话的一种。

The background music is kinda cringe ngl
