Maybe after beating this game I'll actually be competent enough to beat the Souls games & Elden Ring, they were just so Hard I could never finish them, this game feels like a middle ground in difficulty between something like Jedi Survivor on Grand Master & the Souls games. Wukong is difficult but not as hard as Souls, at least IMO.
I like this game but if we're being honest... this is a farming game. it's mandatory to farm at least 5 skills before every boss. This is why Sekiro is my favorite Souls game. If you have skills, you don't need to farm in Sekiro, it's pure sword-fighting action. In Wukong I'm always "oh, huge difficulty spike? Alright, I gotta farm again..." it's messed up. But still, this is probably this year's GOTY.
See I wanna like this game.. but clearly I’m not good enough but it’s getting to be not fun. Like can my guy feel powerful ever? I was hoping this game wasn’t a souls like and idk seems to be the case. Literally been losing to this guy over 50 times.
I agree bro. Would be nice to feel progressively more powerful. Any and all upgrades you make just feel like a way to barely get by the next boss. It’s starting to wear on me
I feel like the character is overtuned. I’ve only played a few from soft games and the bosses before this one all took less than 5-6 tries which is pretty quickly compared to how long it takes for me to kill bosses in like Elden ring or sekiro I think the spells and stuff make the game pretty easy it’s js this boss fight is kidna unfair when 50% of the arena is denied past phase 2

@@chimmychungus1679 that’s the one I got but not sure if it’s the same staff the dude spoke of in this video because I can craft another secret boss staff but I don’t think I can get the sand materials until chapter 3 but I gotta kill this boss before I can progress and I’m still stuck
Hopefully this will help, thank you for explaining this. So far two days stuck with at least 50+ deaths. Haven't got to 3rd stage yet. Defeated the optional waterfall bosses on 1st and 2nd but still around lvl 33 and stuck
love the random 3rd faze full bs on a super long fight
It’s even worse when you get blocked out of being able to attack him when he’s in his wind animations
How did you get the gourd to give you so much health with only one sip? Sheesh
exactly my question?!
After you defeat that demon that uses wind and poisonous snakes, early in the game, you’ll find a monkey that has a little shop, that’s where you can upgrade your gourds. Find a good amount of Loujia Fragrant Vine so you can upgrade it before hand.
Preco bonus
Hey, I love your videos and subscribed. great video! I noticed your health was regenerating on its own, you weren’t drinking from the gord. Is that a skill I’m not aware of? If it is please let me know because I’ve been missing out 😅
I think its from the first staff passive, healing when you consume concentration (sry my game isn't in english)
You have the wind talisman, you could just cancel his tornado on 3rs phase.
Find and fight the hidden beetle boss and get rhw wind charm. When the boss does his tornado, use the charm, and it immediately kicks him back to his original 1st phase state with no tornado.
Thanks worked first time your the goat
I lost to this guy so many times he made me go back and search everything all secret Areas everything and I found a bell hat gets rid of all wind attacks helped me out completely
Stay by his feet and use the winder tamer thing to get a easy dub
Just got to him, he didnt have the first form though? Wonder what i did different
Just beat it thanks for the help man, keep your helps up
the wind tamer can also stun him or end the whole sand phase like the sound spinning around the arena will stop from using it
Just use your wind seal when he starts his 3rd phase. It'll cancel it straight away. You get the seal from the secret beetle boss fight.
Not doing all of that. I wanna relax, have fun, and play a damn game. This is a TERRIBLE entertainment product
Omfg beat him 2nd try after watching this. Big respect bro👊🏻
Thank you so much!! It took me like 50 tries!
I beat him by running in charging the smash stance to land a first big blow, you wanna lock on to him from far and then sprint and hold triangle until u get to him then u release. That can help you drain his health.
Used wind tame vessel…..thrashed him at first attempt.
Initial starting attack are very easy to dodge….don’t use any special ability as it will consume your magna(blue)
Now when he take the wind form use the wind vessel
Now use the special attack which is the duplicate one
Then use slam hit with that spirit ability
He is literally with low health now…..
Remember you have not used health till now
When them tornadoes 🌪️ pull u I had to cut the game off 😭🤣🤣 dude started spamming one hit kills
i got insta killed during 3rd phase after i got hit by tornado lol
after 25 tries managed to kill him.
pillar stance really made the difference to get those big hits
Maybe after beating this game I'll actually be competent enough to beat the Souls games & Elden Ring, they were just so Hard I could never finish them, this game feels like a middle ground in difficulty between something like Jedi Survivor on Grand Master & the Souls games.
Wukong is difficult but not as hard as Souls, at least IMO.
Just get the wind tamer and activate it on the 3rd phase. He will cowar in fear and wind can't effect you.
Nobody talking about his gourd
Thanks, changed a stronger weapon and beat him
Literally first try. Earned a sub.
This boss his hitbox is insane!
So happy I beat this mf but now time for chapter 3 lol
Luckily, I have guides for tge tuff bosses in Chapter 3, too 😅
You must be happy because snowy level!
As many others, been stuck on this boss for a while
Naai lekker bru man, gonna take him on now will update on how many attempt it took me later😂 first f*cking try let's goooooooo
I just rekt this boss in my first try thanks to your video man! Thanks!
@@btslover68_ I don’t know how deep you are into the game but it becomes more and more apparent that gear and spells provide nominal improvements. It’s skill based primarily, which is cool but that’s not how they advertised it. Developers said it’s not meant to be a souls like
@@DK-oy6mp I don’t think if the combat is mostly skill makes it a souls like but yea the game is a soulslike mostly cuz of the bonfire system, rechargeable healing, respawning enemies after resting, and emphasis on stamina management/rolling
oh and I’m still on wind sage cuz the boss design sucks
If you beat all the hidden boss before meeting the guy, you are super strong enough to beat it in 5 attempts.Basically the problem is they hide too many important things deeply.
My first attempt at this was almost a victory. Unfortunately I ran out of flasks and got sucked by the tornado 😢. I'll be doing the quest first before re attempting though.
Just got to keep at it until you get the patterns down
Before i did this boss i did all the side quests and it made it easy ... also grindind exp points
After beating him nothing else has touched me 😂 he created a monster
during his storm phase you use the spell thingy from the big insect and it literally removes the hard phase
The third phase?
I damn near got him first try, but going to bed but I’m kickin his ass later lol
Make sure to have 3 power points or whatever on your strong attack, took me 30 tries.
I just dont get why we have only dodging as a mechanic.
Where is parrying and blocking this would feel more like a battle and its just makes no sense that dodging is the only mechanic.
I cant describe it but Everything like boss attack designs and how the levels are build you just know that this is their first game and they never done it before.
Do the quest of the boar guy and the sage is done for, I died to him 6 times and after I did the quest and got the shiny item I managed to kill him 2nd try, so 8th try if we count the previous attempts.
I always get him to 1/4 health and then just can’t get a hit and i die
On my 80th try and level 72 and still can’t even get it under half HP. I have spent hours different set ups and everything and I just can’t get past this mother fcker. The most insane boss I have ever fought and I don’t think I would defeat this guy!!
WAIT, but how did your health bar fill all the way up with just one sip? I need help with my sparks because I can only use 1 spirit. You used you rat spirit like 3 times.
Surprisingly this took me less tries than the tiger but I did the one quest that gives you the item that cancels his sandstorm bs, this took me about 45mins the tiger took me 2hrs 💀
Boi that tired ass wopen he put on me , I'll never forget, I'm chapter 4 now
35K views is wild
OMG THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH BRO I WON BECAUSE OF YOU
so dude just sends a whole giant ass beetle in the sky that basically kills you yep so game breaking
Perfect, thank you🙏
How the hell are doing more damage to him than I’m able to
thanks for the tips bro, after watch this i beat his ass for the 1st try
