Trident and Fusilier are actually killable with a melee
Fusilier : be sure that his gun has 1 shell left, go to a corner, melee him and get away without a jetpack (normaly if you don't stay hugging him he will miss)
Trident : despite the fact you have to kill the orb, Trident can be meleed by passing near him and hiting him in the process, he take some times to actually hit you with his blade
Dont leave it at that. If you are gonna say something bood like that, explain further, explain how that is possible

Fusilier shovel is slow enough to just hit him and get away without a jetpack, same for trident

when I replied you had left your comment at just "you can melee trident", you didn't give any explanation as to how, I thought you were just bullshitting, having no way to back up your argument. But I also want to say, I don't give ass about fusilier, yeah he's possible, didn't exactly say he's not, I said I wasn't sure, because I didn't check. And for trident, you got it slightly wrong, you cannot infact destroy the orbs with just a shovel, or atleast not consistently at all, and if you try to get a hit off, you are not getting away until you or he is dead, he only releasees you from the grapple once you are aboud 5 studs away. at that point you have to jump up, get a hit, get grappled again, released, jump, and repeat, until someone dies.

I was honestly planning on doing that, gonna do so in maybe a week or two
Machete can be thrown so it is easier than a shovel

1:43 As long as there is only 1 shielder there, you can do it solo too since they don't actually one shot. Then you can just run away, wait to heal, and finish off the other shielder.
actually they do 1 shot you on dyanimic+ difficulties, also even if they didn't, you couldn't heal enough health to go again, since the only healing we have is passive healing, and it is specified that were using engineer which only passively heals to 30 hp.

how far can you get in dvn with JUST the armor peeler? also you could beat hermes i think if you where on that ocean map because he will follow you underwater so theoretically if he was targeting someone undergound u could hit him this probably also works for like dune.
new objective: shotgun and shovel
As a medic main that has experience meleeing stuff, I will say gaia herself was possible before her vitarage was removed by meleeing her vitarage shield behind a wall, she would take damage. However the shielders and gunners would have been horrible to deal with. Platforms I will doubt are possible or they just have insane resistance against shovels cause as far as I know, you can't damage the platform as soon as you enrage them.
If you really want to try and melee bosses like fusilier and tempest, you actually can, but it requires a bug. As enemies see by your torso, you can crouch in the rubble of Archipelagos bunker and not be seen by enemies. However this is somewhat inconsistent of a stragedy so if you try this out with fusilier/tempest, good luck. However daedalus cannot be done in the rubble, as he will push you out of there. This works on trident and prometheus too, but prometheus might push you out of the rubble as he is running towards you (I have never tested it with prom) shielders also die to this stragedy, however you should have a friend so that you can both hit a shielder and kill it instantly. Gaia is also doable in the rubble, but you would need overcharger (I have a video why, it's just unlisted)
I love soloing sometimes, but when I use the shovel on an apu like an idiot, bye bye
For the shielders u can also get them when they are close to some infantry, u kinda need to time it to work

14:00 I think platform has melee resistance like bosses because it's somewhat miniboss in game

in that case it would take 30 hits to kill the platform, which I'm pretty sure I did, I think it just cant be damaged by the shovel really.
Fusilier doesn’t need a jet pack I killed him with a shovel hit back away hit back away worked for me.
Also I killed Sparta in epilogue with rallying cry so-

Killing shielder with melee without taking dmg is possible

Fusilier is just parabolic hydra or interplanar device.
Tempest is just Voltaic Impact.
Gaia is just you being the medic and everyone else right next to you.
Achillies is just armor peeler.
Sparta is just overcharger and terminal.
Trident is Harpoon Gun and Shovel.
Ares is probably just a bunch of weapons.
for prometheus, you can actually get a flamethrower because of the new sandbox update (admin commands)

Would using jetpack to quickly get to the APU, shovel it, and Jetpack away be bending the rules? (kind of like attack on titan)

Well i did kinda specify several times that shovel is the only item in the inventory, so yes. Also, I am almost certain you would die trying that anyways.

not sure what high difficulty does (i've only played public servers) but you have enough time to whack rangers to kill them before exploding
probably more inefficient than leaving them to explode but like, delicious xp points
in the video he’s playing on dynamic, and there’s basically no time to melee rangers
@@therome4315 huh, always had time to hit them twice in public/dynamic servers
in higher difficulties a few bullets would soften them up for one swing just like the tip for shielders
@@coreflakes in the ranger softening part, i already knew about it its just that i didnt mention it
@@therome4315 would be interesting though to test how high the difficulty% can go before meleeing rangers stops being consistent
