Taku's father is the only guilty because he is who She slept with Taku's mother. Side there started Taku's suffering, his Mother's. Majun's. Because I think Taku's father realized that Majun he wasn't his child, that's why he didn't love him like Taku.
Taku's father was the one who made a mistake, but he was still mad at his wife. Normally no wife would accept the man's mistress and their child to live in the same house with her legal children. And it was also because of him that his mother died when he found out what his wife did. And it was also because of him that his friend's servant slept with his wife, that he was kind-hearted and felt pity for how he treated his wife.
And Majun's father isn't that bad. Like when Majun's mother told him to kill Taku when he was born, she didn't kill him. And not when he threw it out of the house when he was 12 and wanted to sell it to the fishermen. He could have killed him then, and he didn't--

Crying in each other's arms....very very powerful...so very real. Their sobbing was so believable. Excellent actors!!!! Again, one of the most emotional scenes I have ever seen on TV...and I'm an American. Kudos to this Korean TV production company and to the director and the actors. Bravo!!! Wow! Oh! Wow!!! So glad I discovered this show...only a few months ago (2021)...just by accident. I thought it was going to be a baking show. In America this show is called "King of Baking".

I love how Takgua and the Chairman meet under the rain, and the last part, what an excellent acting, without excerting so much effort, i cried even before Takgua burst into tears!!!

Omg My eyes got a good cleansed in this episode. Takgu acting at scene 23:48 is so adorable of him. THE BEST kdrama so far for me.. I'm addicted to Kdrama now.

I thought this drama was set in modern times and that they were using older cars but I read on wiki that this drama is set in the 1970-1990s. It makes sense that they didn't use much technology as they do today
....The baker girl matches Takgu more. She's lively, positive, and gives Takgu advice when he is stuck or feeling down. The other girl, Yugyeong is too depressing for takgu.
Great story line when Takgu and his Father embrace one another!!!!! Absolutely great! Couldn't stop crying after that scene!!!! A good cry... validation in restoring a relationship between son and father!😭😭😭💔❤️😘🥰
Every time I watch this drama I feel sorry for Majun, the only thing He wanted from the very beginning was to have more attention from his father, no more money nor more power but only his love and attention. He spent all his life trying.... I just want to hug him. T^T
So true. And I hate his mother, she just wants to use him. She is unfaithful, heartless and disgusting. Majun is so fuvked up because his mother imposed her mindset on him. He and takgu would have a great relation but because of his mother he cannot get close to him .And I can say that because it's true in the episode where they have to walk 2ghter with hands tied, he really started to warm up to takgu. But because of that bitch he can't. This is just plain sad. I feel so sorry for majun. He really only wanted his father to recognize, notice him. But he cant get even that and this is why he does bad things. To get noticed. Sorry for the long speech I just had to take it out lol
Well feeling sorry for him as a kid was ok, but he's an adult now and he knows better. But he keeps doing worse and worse things to purposely hurt his stepbrother. There comes a point when you are responsible for your actions. You can't keep playing the victim card. His actions are just driven by jealousy, anger, rage.
