That commentator talking about pass interference at the end of the game 🤦🏼♂️ the defender was going for the ball and has just as much right to go for it as the receiver does. Ever heard of offensive pass interference?
Making a play on the player before the ball gets there is Pass Interference. He doesn't attempt to play the ball. Tried to blow up the receiver to break up the catch but got there before the ball did. You cannot go through a player to make a play on the ball, and you have to attempt to make a play on the ball. He makes no attempt at the ball and he goes through him. In no world is that offensive pass interference (even if he tried to make a play on the ball rather than deliver a big hit, the WR is running his route and making an attempt to catch it's nowhere close to OPI. You're right that both have a right to the ball, however the offensive player has a right to the space they occupy AND the space they are travelling to the defender really only has the right to occupy their current space (it's a little more complicated than that but essentially bar for DPI is much lower than OPI because a receiver cannot be impeded).
@@chelseavictoria3312 he didn’t blow up the receiver 😆 he had his eye on the ball the entire time and let it hit him in the chest to seal the game. Glad you’re not a ref…
These are both of my college football teams and that is straight facts 💯
Weinke would win the Heisman Trophy this year.
