Scaramouche is one of the best written characters in Genshin. He's so complex and has so many facets, ironically enough, he simply can't see it or doesn't want to see it, but he is far, far more human than he gives himself credit for, or anyone else gives him credit for, for that matter, save only for Nahida. I would LOVE to know what exactly is your process before going into the booth to record for him, so you can achieve such a level of authenticity and realism. Like, I think back to that one moment when he was losing his Gnosis for a second time, and how, within just a moment, he went from the arrogance of a self-proclaimed god straight into a pit of despair, even going as far as pleading with the one he'd considered weaker than him moments before. That one moment was when I really, really felt that Scaramouche was so much more than he let on and I cannot praise you highly enough for your talent. Then again, you are part of a stellar cast of voice actors who masterfully bring to life such interesting and amazing characters!
For real most of the Male characters in Genshin are greatly written but we're being overshadowed by lots of female characters, few of them are decently written.

"I'm harsh on myself as well as others."-Scaramouche one of my favorite quotes of his from the quest it's really relatable since I'm sure at one point we can all be harsh with ourselves to try to be better despite the past that haunts us at times. He might be a bit as you say crazy but that just makes him more human then he realizes and I hope one day he can learn just because you're flawed doesn't make you useless
I love your answer to liking Saramouche. I feel the same way, and it’s nice to see a character with such huge, realistic flaws. I also relate to his struggle to love and accept himself. He was my favorite character the moment I saw him, and I hadn’t even played the first event that featured him. He has such a cool design, but what made me love him was his personality, but especially his voice.

Mine just left me when I was like 5, now every time it's father's day, I have to hold back tears because I have nobody to congratulate it to. I do have a stepfather but it's just not the same. Literally, when I walk through town and see kids with a mom AND a dad, my eyes start to tear up. I've tried to text him but he doesn't answer to my messages... We talked a little in elementary but ever since 2018, we stopped contracting. I have a stepbrother and a stepsister that forgot I exist and he was there for them their whole life, I feel like a discarded child. When my mom was pregnant, he told her that she should abort me, but she said that this is the only child she's ever gonna be able to have and she didn't. So I'm basically a wanted child on my mom's side and an unwanted child on my dad's side. And I love your voice for Scara, it's awesome and the fact that it's you is even better. 💗
