Can You Beat Genshin Impact Using Only Kirara?!

- Dendro is probably one of the most broken elements in Genshin Impact. It has a bunch of very good and viable reactions. Hyperbloom and spread in particular are very popular and powerful elemental reactions to build a team off of. As a result of being a very good element, if you’re a dendro character, you’re pretty much automatically at least “good.” Even the less used and not as good dendro characters have their uses. But despite how great Dendro truly is, we haven’t gotten a new dendro character since 3.7! Who was the last dendro character? It was Kirara (at least before Emilie was revealed). Compared to the rest of the dendro cast, Kirara is definitely one of the weaker characters in terms of what she offers. She can shield, and that's pretty much it. With this limited moveset, how much can Kirara really do? Why don’t we test it by beating Genshin Impact using only Kirara.
Rules:
I can only use Kirara in battle
Any puzzles that require another element can be completed with another character.
No fighting in co-op.
All swords are allowed

Fun Fact: 12:57 Keqing actually works pretty well alongside Kirara. Kirara also gives a pretty decent buff to the team if she's C6.
I really wish I had her C4. The coordinated attacks would help a lot with Keqing and Clorinde to upkeep Quicken on enemies.

I wish I had a c6 kirara... sadly I only have a c1 kirara and she didnt get a rerun since her first run but that doesnt stop me from using her in my 36star nahida hyperbloom team

As someone who loves cat girls(not in the way most do(I'm a straight girl)) I fell in love with kirara the moment she was leaked to be a geo 5*. I even 80'd her pretty quickly the few days after I got her. I'm glad you finally accept our purrrrrrfect delivery cat!

bro kirara is one of my favorite characters !!! she's a catgirl and she's really good, I still user her as my shield in my 36star nahida hyperbloom team and I use her a lot in exploration, she has a verry strong shield and she can climb up walls, I even have a powerbank with a sticker of her on it that I always keep with me

At c6 kirara calcs better than nahida(pre c2 ofc) in aggravate quickswap comps (like with keqing or yae driver) she can use kazuha
ilou sig or sumeru craftable for em buff, her c6 gives teamwide elemental dmg bonus and her shield is pretty good by itself so you could play her on instructor set with just 5* hp sands.
So yeah c4+ kirara is like one of the best dendro characters

Fun fact: Kirara C4 makes anything easy and her C6 completely destroys the world
I really like kirara I’d say she’s as good as dendro traveller and she just looks cool her fit is designed by chiori and I like her querks like how she trasforms and fights with her claws or mews after attacking when she transforms back.
I use her on Quicken team where I need a shield and in a “pet” team where you basically throw turrets or deployables on files and just run around with her in cat form triggering reactions with her ❤
PLUS, you spoke of Baizhu.. but heis shields are low hp and only on he ults so Kirara is the only reliable defensive de dendro unit, plus we also still don’t have hydro shielder for dendro teams. And yes her shield is good it stacks
But yeah picking a shielder is hard for this challenge. She’s also hard to build like Yun Jin..

I can't say much for the reasoning for the design but the Fatui use different types of shields. Theirs work differently enough: Instead of blocking damage, they reduce the damage taken.

Edit: at 24:36 you can actually skip all the rifthounds. I just recently finished sumeru on my second account and I was able to skip all of them. I tried to mess around the floating rocks and was able to jump to the second rocks pretty easily. At one point I fell to the void but it actually helped me because it triggered the four leaf sigils (or whatever they're called) and I was able to just use those to get on the boat. Ofc, I had multiple characters and was able to utilize their skills etc so not sure if skipping the hounds is feasible with a single character...
I'm a dps kirara main! Mine is c6, 8 11 an 11 for talents slowly working on them toward triple crowning. She can easily crit between 40k-70k with her berst. She just needs love n care. :3

Can I make request for a challenge? Something I like to call the "oooh, shiny..." -challenge. I did that once and thought it was fun, so I'd love to see someone more competent and charismatic person try it. Like you. ♡
Basically, every time I got enough for a ten pull, I had to use it on a banner. I would then have to use whatever or whoever 4 or 5 star I got. I also had to switch between banners between every ten pull (including the weapon banner), always cycling through them in order. Everytime I got a new character, they had to join my party on slot 1, moving everyone else forward one slot, and if I already had 4 characters, the character on slot 4 got benched. Similarly, every weapon or artefact had to also be used (in the case of weapons, only if a character on the current party could use it. And in the case of artefacts, I only counted domain ones, because shuffling artefacts between every chest wasn’t what I wanted to use my time on and if I got more than what I had characters, I got to choose which to use). The only way to reuse a character was to pull their constellation, and then same idea for weapons. I used no trial characters and always did what I could with the elements I had, including story and quest puzzles. I really learnt to deal with what I got playing this way and got to try a lot of different combos. Of course I did a lot more quests and events than you usually do on these challenges, so you might get less ten pulls than I did. Could also make it a single wish per banner cycle as well I suppose?
