Yoooooo. Not gonna lie. Saw a few of your videos and it inspired me to toss one up myself! Hard to live up to your quality and aesthetic, but I’ll try getting things lined up better whenever I get around to making a new one 😂😂 cheers bro!
Bram Slootmans Not a stupid question at all! It’s subtle, but if you look reeeally closely, you’ll notice I’m twisting one of the knobs in the top right. I have that knob mapped to an instrument rack in ableton that has one empty device chain for each instrument track in my project file. The Akai MIDI is being sent to this rack, and the knob determines which chain the MIDI is sent to, then I map the MIDI from each unique chain to a unique track (ex: chain 1 = bass, chain 2 = pads, chain 3 = lead, etc). So in this example the bass track has its “MIDI From” section set to the track which has the rack with all the chains. And then in the second drop down under “MIDI From” I select the chain I want to pull the MIDI from, so each instrument track pulls MIDI from a different rack chain. I know this probably sounds insane, it’s very hard to explain over text...but you or anyone reading this can feel free to add me on Instagram @weswinder and shoot me a DM. I can probably send you some pics or a video explaining it quickly!
People love simple things - why are mindless talk-shows on TV so popular? People LOVE things that are easy for the mind to digest. The problem is coming up with something simple can be HARD!
I sometimes daydream about if I could go back in time and show stuff like this to musicians from past centuries. I like to think they'd be excited to see how cool music and technology will evolve to be!
You should do a tutorial to explain step by step how to make this cover, I'm sure many would be interested and me the first as a beginner. And nice video, continue like this :-)
@@WesWinder It would be great, I watch some tutorials on youtube but I get lost quickly, I would like to find something more complete with a concrete example like ur cover for example

It’s May 2021, Covid-19 vaccine was out 6 months ago, everything is looking normal again, you get home after school or work, after a shower you lay down and open RUclips, you realize that Rockstar it’s trending, you open their latest video and this beat starts playing introducing the logo of GTA VI and the words “Welcome to Vice City”, as the trailer goes on the beat fades out showing a blank screen with the words “Coming September 17” in it. Life is good.
Wishful, but unlikely. GTA V's trailer released in Nov, 2011 -- but the game didn't release until September, 2013. Red Dead Redemption II's trailer released October, 2016 -- but the game didn't release until October, 2018. GTA VI has only been in primary development for two years since the release of Red Dead II, and it took five years to make Red Dead II following the release of GTA V. So suffice to say even if we did get a teaser trailer next year (likely), the game won't release for another few years at best.
