That's the most I've seen Phil get tickled
I don’t recall seeing Phil laugh this hard since Duck Dynasty. The episode where Ms Kay and Jeep’s wife insisted on going hog hunting with him. he had them convinced the had to walk in circling calling the hogs for them to come. Phil literally went to his knees laughing as they fine ladies walked in a circle calling pigs! God Bless ya’ll for being who you are!
I agree with Beth...what a treat seeing Phil and his boys have a good hearty laugh. The family goings-on are indeed classic! Moments like these (in all families) build lasting memories to cherish.

I’m in Louisville Ky and growing up my grandmother always made king cakes. She used the baby Jesus figure in hers and He was always gold. Whoever got the baby had to make one for the next gathering. She did explain to us that it was a Louisiana tradition. We have always had Louisiana style traditions due to her. I miss that woman like you couldn’t believe. She was the Kentucky version of Miss Kay.

I'm Lutheran and we have Lenten services and they are really for us to focus on what Jesus did for us on the cross; even more than we already do, kind of a quiet time. Some people give up things (social media is one), or foods or just something that you feel takes your time away from your focus on Christ. Some people don't do anything different.
What a wonderful episode. The whole thing was good but after years and years of watching Phil Robertson all the way back to Duck Commander, I have never seen him laugh like that and it was a real pleasure. I have watched the first part of this 3 times now and have told others to watch it.

Having seen the original and absolutely busting a gut, I just had to come back for a second helping of the meatloaf story causing me yet another session of laughter until I cried. For me all three men contributed equally in their own way. Possibly my laughing harder than the original viewing led me to bookmark this episode for the rest of my days perhaps during times of depression or just feeling a little bit down, whatever. Good night/morning world.

Growing up in Pensacola, I went to my fair share of Mardi Gras Parades between Pensacola and Mobile. Ours were very family friendly parades. I have heard stories of the New Orleans Parades... 😳😳😳 But I am in the Mid-Atlantic now and I have had King Cakes here (oddly common) and even found them in New England (not quite so common, but they do have them in local groceries). They are no where as good as the ones from Alabama that I have had, that's for sure.
