To be fair one would need to try each dish at each restaurant. I've had double LL a couple of times, it was good, yet, for me...i prefer Mi Nidito. Carneseca tacos are amazing, not all restaurants serve carne seca, or know how too! Their beans are amazing and you can ask for mild sauce, which is warmed up and fun to mix with the regular salsa. My family has enjoyed many of their dishes. To be fair , with the taco sitting in juice, you'd need to eat it first, so that it wont break.. as that can happen anywhere when it sits inthe saucy meat. I've had double LL many times, we use to eat there for big family functions, til they wanted go charge us for to go boxes. & For chips to go, after we had ordered a lot of food. I have had their posole and it was bland... Even after i doctored it up with salsa and the sides. I haven't had mi niditos pozole, yet, i have had Crossroads, which is very good.
I do like Dounble LL, its just not my top choice!
