The size difference between Lucy and the Searchlights is absolutely astonishing. Lucy is over 1,300 feet tall while the Searchlights are only 13-16 feet tall and 98 feet long. Edit: The Searchlights are actually 70 meters (or 229 feet) long according to Henry.
Yea, I think it says in the trenchbleeders’ file that they PHYSICALLY CANNOT STAND ON LAND, they would buckle and crumble under their own weight. That’s why they’re in the ocean.
Searchlights are actually around the size of a reefback leviathan. Which is around 70 meters long. You can measure the searchlights with the lunar gravity devices
Tips to get this through: - Do not rush! especially during filling up the line minigame. since there is no time limits during the Searchlights encounter, you may find another broken machines to proceed if the nearby machines caught you with electric shock. -Find anywhere that didn’t go passes the Searchlights or obstacles. as long you got out of its sight, You’ll be fine.
-Make sure you have as little lag as possible. Close ALL unnecessary tabs like chrome (if people say they lost their run because they closed Roblox I'm gonna lose my mind). -Close calling tabs if they are on the same computer as the run you're doing if you can use a different device for it. If not, either keep it on for better communication or plan a route before entering with your friends and then turn it off for better framerate. -set your graphics quality to as low as you can without making the game unplayable. Not sure if you haven't figured it out yet, but lagging even slightly in either of the grand encounters can completely screw you over. I personally move the graphics down to 4/10 (let's ignore that the laptop I play on lags a ton when higher when I play pressure.) -for the first grand encounter, there is 1 monster plus 1 amount of searchlights. For the first one, it's puddle's of void mass. Deal with them how you would normally deal with them, but I recommend scouting out the area's lockers before anything else. This way you know which lockers have puddle's of void mass, and you won't kill yourself (probably) by running to a locker and either getting in without reacting fast enough, or are unable to find another hiding spot in time. -For the second Grand Encounter, it's parasites and up to 3 searchlights at a time. Get the inner cables fixed first, as it's easier to do when there isn't essentially zero wiggle room. For the parasites, just get in a light source, doesn't matter what it's from (I swear to God someone's gonna run into a searchlights to try and get rid of a parasite infestation) and "shake" them off. -elaborating on sweettooths' second tip, during the first grand encounter, there are a lot more spots where it may not look hidden, but it can't be seen by a searchlights. And at worst case scenario, it's a last ditch hiding spot.

13:52 Now I'm wondering how such powerful stomp didn't sent a shockwave strong enough to send away the players very hard and also not making any sands below it spreads around
At the first encounter with the searchlights, you can see a dead person, clearly a worker at the blacksite. But in the cutscene, the serachlight hooks him and drags him into the searachlights mouth.
I'm not going to take a look at the ACTUAL ending here, because I don't want spoilers for myself. I NEARLY beat this game, I died over 40 Times, and I haven't gotten a SINGLE. WIN. When I made it to door 100, I knew it was going to be a bloodbath. During the "bloodbath", I was literally shaking and gasping. Thinking I was going to beat this game. My worst enemies were Pandemonium and Eyefestation. Pandemonium is of course the most stressful enemy to beat. The "minigame" lasts for about a minute and it was really stressful. However, I beat his game. Eyefestation, not only he forces you to look at him (you take damage by looking at him), He also drowns out the noise of other angler audio cues. At the ending of that "bloodbath", I went into the "pre-final grand encounter" room. My gasping and my use of the words "oh my god" intensify. I thought I was going to beat the game. I thought I was going to reach the peak of my joy. I thought it was going to be my happiest moment in my times in gaming. I used a strategy that when go higher you see the damaged cables, you're just *that* high enough. Because the parasites will be a problem. 4 minutes later, I fixed 6 out of 7 cables. I tried to use the same strategy, but I literally couldn't see it anywhere. Because... 1: It's blurry as fuck. 2: The area is larger than the map of Roblox Brookhaven. 3: The sparks from the damaged cables are only a speck of light in the distance. A minute while I was trying to find the very last cable I need to fix, I was completely unaware of the presence of the searchlight bastard above me. 3 seconds later, I was caught by one of its hook. ALL WAS LOST. I died. Immediately when the SL caught me, I screamed a 2 second "NO!!!". Sebastian made his cue. He said; "Don't worry. Surely you'll make it next time." For a full 3 minutes, I was crying. tears were flowing from my eyes. I clearly put my whole heart into that grand encounter. I died over 40 times. I was SUPER CLOSE to beating the game. I couldn't buy a revive when I was dead, All I could do was sit in my chair and cry.
I lost a run from getting cornered into out of bounds, and getting the server I was in shut down. Both were after I turned the “cannon” on. Then I beat the game on the third try
I died inches away from the cave that lead to the exit. I cannot explain in words all the stages of grief I went through, it's beyond human understanding. In my opinion, this entity is the worst in the entire game especially in the final bossfight where there are like 4 or 3 of them.
i died at THE EXACT SAME PART. bro i am FURIOUS. ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS. i hope the devs fucking remove this and never THINK about adding that fucking shit back at the end.

The fact that the 3 Searchlights came by was only because they thought Lucy was one of their kind. And i won't blame em, she does have bright lights that are looking down
I love the music in the final encounter, but it does not fit with the glorified stealth section at all. I feel like there should be a different goal than just repairing something. Getting to multiple turrets and killing the searchlights would've been a better fit with the music, although I guess the music is more about how you've gotten too far to die now. Ideally, there should be an actual antagonist that the government really hates, so you decide to try and kill that in order to get on their good side even more when you do get back to the prison. Overdue edit: nvm, that last part is kinda done already, and that person is called Sebastian.
Yeah, the entire reason the game exists is because we play as someone who signed up to get out of prison. The entire reason the player signed up is because whichever prisoner that signs up and successfully retrieves and brings the crystal back to Urbanshade will get pardoned, their criminal history erased, and a cash reward. They do their end of the deal after you finish your end without dying. Many prisoners sign up, including the player. But, as the game says instead of saying the game is difficult: *YOU ARE EXPENDABLE.* *YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO RETURN.*
I feel like this music is supposed to be the adrenaline rush of spiting the prison as well as the company, "you're expendable" they said, yet you've made it this far, you can't die now.
I got lucky on the round I completed Pressure (Potential Spoilers) Encountered A-60 Encountered the weird mannequin thing (At the very end, almost got me.) Survived the Pandemonium Mini game. Managed to Flash Beacon Sebastian Encountered the weird plant room. And survived Blitz during the section with all the fake doors and blacked out rooms since I was conveniently close to a locker.
The ending is really good, im not gonna lie, even if we dont know the full lore of this game. Like, did someone chose us? or did someone brainwashed us or kidnapped? Many questions. Hope they will make a new horror game like this But the most disgusting thing...is a toxic players its like 65% of toxic players and 35% of normal players

I’m sorry not to look like a nerd Right now but in pressure they aren’t earth movers. They are actually called “Trench bleeders” and are used to illegally dig up resources from the let vand zone.
Well it seems that the expendable is stuck in a loop, if we die, we don’t die, the loop resets at the start, the moment we arrive to the blacksite, and if we win, it’s the same, everything resets and returns to the exact moment the submarine surfaced at the hadal blacksite. So that’s why I think it’s possible to get multiple pardons, some overlord is watching over the expendable and forcing them to endure the worst for eternity.

He said;
"Don't worry. Surely you'll make it next time."
For a full 3 minutes, I was crying. tears were flowing from my eyes.
Then I beat the game on the third try
chill it’s just a game bro
@@monkeoffical I mean I finally beat it like 10 times now

I died inches away from the cave that lead to the exit. I cannot explain in words all the stages of grief I went through, it's beyond human understanding. In my opinion, this entity is the worst in the entire game especially in the final bossfight where there are like 4 or 3 of them.
i died at THE EXACT SAME PART. bro i am FURIOUS. ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS. i hope the devs fucking remove this and never THINK about adding that fucking shit back at the end.
i am in shambles as well, i was inside the path back into the cave when i timed it wrong and for some reason got caught in the light and got impaled. i was a door away from winning the game for the first time and i am absolutely devastated

I wonder why Lucy stepped on the searchlight, was it sentient enough to realize we were in trouble?
Very curious about this games lore in general.
Lucy might be the leader of them
Lucy might be the only Trenchbleeder that is sentient
Sorry for late reply but no, Lucy has a duty to collect resources (from the trenchbleeder document) and she is simply doing her job without caring about anything on her way
@@Minty12301No,she is the only trenchbleeder to have a"free roam" mode
It might be Painter who did that
I gotta admit.

And just imagine your boss tells you go do maintnence and is soon as you exit the guide cave. its just searchlights.also lucy(or)trenchbleeder i thought it was a gigantic creature. like a searchlight mother.the big boy in that case.and the parasites apparently if you use a flash beacon i guess like you shoo them off.and btw if you look close enough far out you can see sebastion swiming around

The searchlights look like a mix of the subnautica reefback and ghost leviathan
Thank you so much
0:54 i like how the players looks around to see if searchlight is near

They release you from prison, thus you don't go back to prison.
But, as the game says instead of saying the game is difficult:
*YOU ARE EXPENDABLE.*
*YOU ARE NOT EXPECTED TO RETURN.*
@@SillyCatto92 From what the ending describes, you still go back to prison in order to meet that old dude and get pardoned.
@@cutestcreeper569 They were released from prison, thus the fake news story, and clearing of their criminal record.
I feel like this music is supposed to be the adrenaline rush of spiting the prison as well as the company, "you're expendable" they said, yet you've made it this far, you can't die now.

I died during searchlight obstacle I’m sad. 😭
I was so close to beating but I didn't know where to after getting all 7
is there a reason why the player can go back and win more than once and get more than one crystal lore wise or is only the first successful run canon?
Well it seems that the expendable is stuck in a loop, if we die, we don’t die, the loop resets at the start, the moment we arrive to the blacksite, and if we win, it’s the same, everything resets and returns to the exact moment the submarine surfaced at the hadal blacksite. So that’s why I think it’s possible to get multiple pardons, some overlord is watching over the expendable and forcing them to endure the worst for eternity.
the searchlights are giving war of the worlds vibes, specifically the final part.
Why does the searchlights' background music sound different?
