The way they were interacting on stage and the way he was playing on some of these songs…especially on cuts like Exit Wounds…you can tell he was on his way out.

@@tigersteffi I really like Steve Forrest. He was an incredible addition to Placebo and a super talented musician all the way around. His loss is still present, much more so than Hewitt who brought a lot of tension to the band.

@@janeharrington9811 I agree, the new drummer that they have is just not bringing it. Maybe that’s what they wanted, the whole point of bringing someone who functions more like a drum machine, as to not draw attention away from Brian and Stefan, but you can feel there’s a power that’s been lost because they don’t have that *star* drummer like they did with Hewitt or Forrest. Look up a recent performance of them doing Bionic and you can clearly tell. Those drum fills are not hitting the same.
