For anyone interested this is an awareness video for membership, which directly helps the Sanctuary and the Kevin Richardson Foundation. I know times are hard and tight for funds, so it will not be for everyone and all of your support helps my work and makes a real difference. I'm so sorry for betraying you beautiful animals..we treat you with distance took you for granted...hunted to you down to extinction..now there is nothing to bring you back..we should hold our heads in shame..
Should it come to a time where I come across the last lion on Earth I would say to him or her: You are from a majestic species that ruled of all of Africa. You were the kings and queens of this land. The strength and loyalty you exude daily will never be matched. I am truly scarred for life to know that this world will go forward into a cold future without you majestic creatures. You who lived in perfect homeostasis with the lands. You who only took what you needed for survival and never a bit more. It should be you going into the future to continue to live in harmony with mother nature. Instead it is us humans who will, and more than likely we will continue to destroy our own planet as if it has no importance whatsoever to our very survival. We humans have failed you and ourselves. I am ashamed that I am a part of such a violent, inconsiderate and destructive species. Im embarrassed I couldn't make more of my life so that I could have protected you more. We all should have. The world should have done all they could to make sure you had the space you needed to continue to live your life wild and free. We didn't deserve you! You will not be forgotten! Your species will live on through ancient civilizations artwork, the metaphors of God in The Bible, and the worship of your kind will continue. Idols of you will remain even after us humans have destroyed ourselves. Sorry isn't good enough for what we have done! You deserved the world!
I would say to the last lion this: "You are the last in a long, strong and proud royal line. A world without a lion is difficult to imagine, because each species has its place and very important for balance, so you being the last , the balance will no longer be after you, and we will never forget you"

Let’s hope this never happens! I would tell them that they had a guardian angel named Kevin Richardson that spent a lifetime doing all he could to help save their race. Unfortunately, there weren’t enough of him to go around and save the species. This is a huge thank you to you, Kevin. I have been a member for almost three years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it! I have learned so much about these majestic animals as well as the hyenas and black leopards. Much, much love from 🇨🇦. ❤❤❤

I would first apologize on behalf of us humans for encroaching and stealing their environment and habitat And I would hope to protect this sole survivor myself if I could....to live his or her final days safe in peace.❤❤I would also cry many tears. Here is hoping such a things doe not happen. I pray my grandkids can see lions in their lifetime...
If I talked to the last lion on Earth, first I’d be crying so hard it would be difficult to speak. But I would apologize for humans destroying habit and abusing them and let him know how much I love him. I’d tell him I’ll be with him in Heaven one day where we’ll no longer have to worry about humans destroying the planet and the wildlife. Thank you Kevin for working so hard to protect these majestic beautiful animals. This is was a wonderful video but it hurt to see the lions we’ve lost. Great to see George. I agree. I don’t want to live in a world without animals. The sad part is if predators disappear, everything else will eventually disappear including humans.
I would tell him/her lions are a gift in this world and I am grateful for the time we’ve had together. Last I would apologize that humans did this to them.
To the last lion on earth I would say: I was wounded in the military and as a 100 percent disabled veteran I have to search for any form of entertainment to keep myself occupied and to combat boredom. You, your brothers and sisters, and a very special man named Kevin Richardson provided me with untold hours of entertainment. I learned to care about all lions as much as I care about my dogs. On days I was in a lot of pain watching how lions dealt with pain helped me get through it. On days when I struggled, watching the female lions struggle in a hunt to feed the pride kept me from feeling sorry for myself. You are the last of a special breed of animal the likes of which we'll never see again. Thank you so much for everything.
I hope I never live in a world without lions, but I would say sorry we didn't do better to protect you and understand the true magnificence of you. Thank you, Kevin and team for all you do for these beautiful cats.
I am not sure I would be able to get any words out through all of the tears and crying. If I could I would say thank you for gracing the world with your strength and majestic presence and apologize for the bad behavior of the cause and for not doing enough to protect you.
I have to agree with several others certainly hope that this never happens. They had an amazing champion on their side that did his best in educating the world about them and other wildlife! He went above and beyond in everything he did to make sure that the world had a better understanding about the effects that we as humans had on wildlife. I absolutely wish that there were more people who were like Kevin Richardson in this world!! If you were one of the lions that had the chance to be taken care by him then you had an amazing life!!! I wouldn't have any words. There aren't enough words or the right words to express the sorrow at the loss, the awe of their majesty, grace, beauty, the gratefulness for Kevin and people like him, or the wonder at being able to witness them while they were still many. And so much more.

I would say, you have been an inspiration for the entire world. In literature, religion, entertainment, sports, politics...in every sphere. You represent courage, nobility, pride, and fearlessness that lives in all of us. You've inspired magnificent things in the human race that wouldn't have happened without you. Nothing could ever replace you and I am so grateful to have lived during a time when lions roamed the earth and inspired humans to understand what they are truly capable of.
Thank you lions for showing us how to: be strong, regal, fierce, protective and gentle; to roar and roll with life; to take opportunities when they arise and to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Every species has, or will go extinct, but for one so majestic to go at the hands of us is heartbreaking and unforgivable. I would tell the last one we're sorry and that the planet was an infinitely better place with them on it.
To the last lion on earth I would say: It was an absolute blessing and joy to have you and all the other lions who have passed on, grace our earth. It’s been incredible to learn about you, and to support you through this amazing Wildlife conservation run by Kevin Richardson. Lastly I would apologize that we humans couldn’t prevent extinction from occurring, but am so blessed to have witnessed these beautiful animals, even only through a computer or phone screen. 🦁
aaaah, that's a tough one! I would want to tell that lion or lioness that being part of the "pride" financially and sharing the videos has been one of my joys and responsibilities in trying to save their wild cousins ... just thanking Kevin, George, as well as the other care-givers at the Sanctuary from the bottom of my heart!💝💘💖

I wouldn't have any words, but tears of deep sorrow. I believe if the 'King of the Jungle' becomes extinct it will create an Imbalance and possibly a collapse of wildlife and the ecosystem. Kevin I am a member and I urge others to become members. It is only a small amount each month ( the price of a pint of beer in the UK! ) but what difference it makes to the Kevin Richardson foundation and all the animals in your care. I’m so sorry for what we, humans, have done to your species. I’m truly truly heart broken over it. OMG I love Meg. Such a beautiful lioness. I miss her sister Amy. Bobcat, the King of the lions, magnificent. Bobcat LOVES Kevin so much. And dear Gabby. How much laughter that naughty girl has given me. She loves Kevin in a different way, lol. I can hear Kevin…GABBY, NO…GABBY! NO! Brothers George and Yumi whose lives were saved by Kevin and the sanctuary.

When I lived in East and West Africa in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, I heard your ancestors roar in the bush. To this day the sound still resonates in my very soul. Any animal extinction must be avoided. You lions are so majestic with beautiful spirits I pray every day for animals all over the world.

After a tremendous amount of tears shed (as i am doing now at the thought only one lion left on this Earth), I would say, "I am incredibly heartbroken that you are the last of your species, and that you have had a hero in Kevin Richardson and his foundation who who never gave up fighting for you. They are a majestic creature that symbolizes bravery. They are are talked about in both the Old and New Testament. They are a part of heaven and will live on...I would stroke his/her coat and say how much I loved them. Their beauty unmeasurable and their grace was breathtaking.

I've been a member of the Pride for a while now. Not as long as many. But I always love coming back to this channel to learn more, be entertained, be moved and to learn more about lions. My message to the last lion, probably couldn't be articulated because I'd be overwhelmed with grief. They are the greatest and most beautiful of all of the apex predators on the planet.
I would tell the majestic lion that I am sorry the world failed them. I would tell about the beautiful person called 'The Lion Whisperer' who gave his heart & soul to save them and give them the best lives they could have. I would sit quietly after and just enjoy the beauty and grace of the lion. ❤

I wEvery species we loose is a piece of us disappeaould say that I am so sorry that we didnt value lions as we should have. I would say how very blessed we have been to have these majestic animals in our lives . It's guardians like Kevin and his team that have kept lions doing as well as they are . I would say, you have been an inspiration for the entire world. In literature, religion, entertainment, sports, politics...in every sphere. You represent courage, nobility, pride, and fearlessness that lives in all of us. You've inspired magnificent things in the human race that wouldn't have happened without you. Nothing could ever replace you and I am so grateful to have lived during a time when lions roamed the earth and inspired humans to understand what they are truly capable of.

I wouldn't have any words, but tears of deep sorrow. I believe if the 'King of the Jungle' becomes extinct it will create an Imbalance and possibly a collapse of wildlife and the ecosystem.
