You call it outtakes. Looks like (1) having fun warming up (2) building up a really good finished piece. It shows the amount of work it takes going in, to get something looking effortless coming out. 😀 hard work that pays off. 😀❤️
Ella eating that croissant was magical. I literally laughed out loud when Ben ask her if she was going to sing and she paused before once again biting into her pastry. Love this family!
We all just love you guys. Watching the kids grow up before our eyes, seeing how their talents progress, and the ever improving recording quality helps my old ears appreciate the music even more. We get a sense of each child's personality and the love, fun and hard work that goes into these productions. Danielle, I must say I love the lighter hair highlights, always beautiful. Ben, you do a great job keeping it light, fun and keeping everyone on task without being a task-master.
Having been recording a virtual choir for the last two and a half years, learning how this recording stuff works, it is very reassuring to see this family doing and saying the same things: "you cut off a good take", "I hate metronomes", and on and on. Delightful. I think they are even using similar kit, but have more of it than we do. Terrific.
A lovely little insight into how you produce such wonderful music, many thanks guys!! Keep it up, it's wonderful to see how you are developing and improving!! :)
Appropriately enough, I was practicing songs for my gig tonight when your post notification popped in. I will take your song bridge vocal advice to Thomas with me tonight. 😆 Hope your holiday is proceeding in holiday like fashion.
Thanks for all the great entertainment, I have binged watched your videos SO many times and they only get funnier 😂 So much talent and family love…and annoyance at times😅 Hello from Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺 🐨 🦘
Ah, this is fun. It’s interesting to see how you do the recording, I hadn’t seen a curved padded thingy before, handy thing. Or heard all Ben’s bossiness, loving all the kids’ responses. Idk how one eats a pastry without spilling flakes and crumbs. I draw the line at concern for that, just eat pastry and chill. Also my two younger cats find every crumb.
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. Much appreciated! The tune pops up in my head all the time and I think, "What song is that? Oh, of course, "My Storybook." Such a wonderful song. 😄
Oh how I love your family. Won't say who but I do have favourites😍 Also, this video is so amusing and shows that it's not so easy to produce your wonderful music. Bravo! Keep 'em coming.
Ben how you co-ordinate the family you and Danielle are a inspiring couple and well loved by your children ! And since you started doing you tube loved by your fans
GAWD!!! I would absolutely hate this. 😫😬😝These kids have such unbelievable patience with their Dad. 😱 Reminds me of what the Jacksons had to endure. 😢😪
you do realise they're joking? Ben is the one editing the video - he wouldn't put himself in that light if he meant any of it... he took those scenes on purpose...
@@cocolinabt Absolutely agree with you cocolinabt! Anyway all the youngsters can well stand up for themselves all giving as good as they get! Danielle? Well She probably puts "Nando peri peri hot sauce" in Ben's Cocoa, that's what gives him an upset stomach, and a telling off from Tess! 🌶🌶🌶🥵🤣
Where has 'My Storybook' gone? It's one of my favourites and I can't find it?! Please repost if you've removed it! Loving the music and the family dynamics. Thank you for all you're doing :)
Hi Rebekah! Sorry - we’ve removed it just for a few days because we’re excited to be releasing it as a proper music single thus coming Friday (when a better-produced version will appear)! Hope you can wait for it - and maybe even pre-save it here: orcd.co/mystorybook. Thanks for your message xx
Your videos are quite enjoyable. This behind the scenes gives your viewers more appreciation for your family dynamics. May I suggest making a family biography video, where everyone introduces themselves. Each one could tell us their age, likes, dislikes, future goals, etc. Whatever the family feels comfortable telling your viewers. Best wishes.
"Jog on, monsieur", "Screw that", "Bad influence - you didn't even say pardon me", "You could have told me that, Ben". Gotta love the Marsh kids! They aren't afraid to stand up for themselves and say what they think, but they're never bratty.
A 🦭? No! A 🐳? No! A 🐫in "Sing"? "Errr, No!" A 🦙? No!... It's a siren. In fact pacifically I'm going for the siren that used to go off when you left a land line off the hook for a long period! Known I believe as an "Exchange Howler!"
Was very disappointed to see that you are going to "work up a proper version" complete copy/reproduction of "My Storybook" A waste of time and energy, in my opinion, the original was excellent! I believe you would have been better off putting the time, energy and talent into working up a brand knew Christmas song! Or in the words of Superintendent Ted Hastings "Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey, can we just move this thing along before it drives us all round the bloody bend!" There's a quote suggestion Ben, for Your latest cloths line t-shirts or Hoodies, even a mug! In your shop! Your welcome!
They do seem to do their very best to enjoy the preparation as much as possible Angela! Lots of laughs and banter! I never found football training as much fun as the match, but it could be said that it is the most important part.

Love this family they very good and talented people each bring their own skills and great voices but still show the love for each other x
Great making of “my songbook”. A lot of work goes into a track. Thank you Ben, Danielle and family for behind the scenes. Please do more.

Great respect to all the kids for gracefully taking direction for the umpteenth time and such great rhythm. You are stars in my eyes.
OMG I LOVE this family! I love their accents. I love how they lovingly co-habitate & joke. I love their musical ability. EVERYTHING!!
Yes!! All of it!

Love Alfie's philosophy about perfection and also "screw that"
Never a dull moment in the studio. I love the vibe.
I am looking forward to hearing what you have planned hope you lot are well and everyone is well at the house
I had no idea what you have to put up with from your Dad! It always looks so jolly and relaxed and natural 🤔
A lovely little insight into how you produce such wonderful music, many thanks guys!! Keep it up, it's wonderful to see how you are developing and improving!! :)
Thank you for brightening our days!

I just started following you and I think your family is the best. A new Trapp Family without the controversy.
Wonderful to watch, thanks guys.
Gollies. It's amazing you a get anything done. But done you do. Quite the contrast between behind the scene and the amazing finished product.
Enjoy your wonderful holiday in Florida!
Love watching you guys when dad boss around 😂❤️
There's a lot of work goes into all this!

Two thumbs up for Thomas's "I hate metronomes!" comment! 🙂
That's so good 🙂

Love this 💖
Is it wrong that I badly want whatever Tess is eating!! That looks like baked EXCELLENCE!
It was Ella! But agree it did look like good grub, she certainly seemed to be enjoying it.
Pain-au-Chocolat
"Jog on, monsieur", "Screw that", "Bad influence - you didn't even say pardon me", "You could have told me that, Ben". Gotta love the Marsh kids! They aren't afraid to stand up for themselves and say what they think, but they're never bratty.
I love you guys. Xxxx
I love the behind the scenes videos..
I don't get what the clapping was for though?.
👏Believe it is there in the background of the original song Dave! If you listen carefully at 1:14 and 2:04 it does seem to stand out more.👏
... "FAMILY MATTERs" ... ;-) ...
so why didn't Alfie sing solo? amd how tall is he now? he's shot up!
class, class, class work. I really enjoy listening to you actually x
Strange question. What is the picture of on the wall behind Dannielle?
At a guess Bob! The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle.
Ben! What about the donkey that took them all to Bethlehem? Also Danielle, you looked the double Elaine Paige. 😍
Trish! You forgot the Wee!
Also Trish! Is that double now? i.e. twin. Because that would make Danielle 74. 😀

That’s an awful lot of work we know nothing of 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Cute factor 11!
Came for Thomas, stayed for Thomas, left when I didn’t see enough of Thomas
The Guys look so good.
Loved it! (But write out "practising" three times.). 😃😃
Gorgeous!! Greetings from Germany :)
Very entertaining
"I hate metronomes!"
Doesn't everyone?
How to kill a performance, play with a metronome.
Some people's kids! 😁
What is that U.F.O (Unidentified Food Object) that Ella's devouring? Could it be a Current Bun, or a Barm cake?
It's a pain-au-chocolat!! they're amazing:)
Whatever it is, I want one.
Can you have props bring a round of hot toddies and figgy pudding mate !!! 🇬🇧🇺🇲🌀🇬🇧🇺🇲🌀🇬🇧🇺🇲
Thanks
Kids with moving veins are often psychic. Either that or they're gassy.
Ella! Why are you hitting Thomas? (1:42) He hasn't done anything!
comment
Oof, getting meta.
Just to clear this up …. What is Ella eating?
a pain-au-chocolat! a ginormous one! :D
