That was the BEST hunting experience I ever could have wished for. From start to finish it was like it was scripted, everything just fell into place for the perfect hunt. Thanks Rob, initially my heart rate was racing but after waiting and watching him for as long as we were lucky enough too & Zeb quietly telling me to relax, my heart rate settled, even when I stalked closer and took the shot I was in a very calm state of mind. But after the shot it certainly lifted again!😆
Lol-Ken Pearce wrote a book titled “Walking them Up” and that’s exactly what you did.Being up close and personal with a mature Sambar stag is certainly invigorating.Having Zeb share his vast knowledge on all things back packing and stalking is invaluable.Continued safe hunting.Cheers, Rob.

Yeah well I knew plenty about deer well before I knew anything about RUclips so maybe I'm doing it the "right" way? I've always said I wanted to keep the videos free and use the subs as a way of getting companies on board.

Congratulations both of you. I wonder if people realise how great a stalk that was. It’s challenging for one person let alone two to drop in to a bedded stag from above. I often think walking down hill is harder than going up. In that dry crap it’s very easy to roll a rock for example. Again congratulations and well done.

Hey Dennis thanks for your comments...Im sure there are plenty of people that have never hunted Sambar that wont appreciate the stalk but the people that do understand the challenge will truly admire Glenda's awesome effort in closing the gap to 34yds of a bedded mature stag. Glenda is no stranger to pulling the trigger on Sambar, mostly farm fringe but had a desire to elevate her hunting and came to me for experience in backpack hunting and specifically on how to close the gap on a deer once spotted in a cross gully situation. her comfort range is 250-300m. Id say the lesson couldn't have worked out better!

Well what can I say ,well done Zeb your first client and a very good stag how was the mass on that big boy and to get that close was a very good effort on Glenda's part excellent result all round ,I rate stalking with angling is an art and as Izaac Walton wrote in 1653 and an Art worth your learning.
Great effort good on your new business it’s going to take some betting when you start off with that result that’s why hunting deer must be preserved for its enjoyment and appreciation of the great animal deer are 👌🦌
Definitely hard to beat but it's not all about the deer that is shot. She came with me to learn how to backpack and get close to deer ...objective complete.

I had a feeling Glenda was going to be the perfect first client and if given the opportunity would excel and she did. We did have a spanner thrown in 24hrs out though with a change of location due to a clash with another hunter planning to hunt the same area that weekend that we intended to hunt also. Glenda had mentioned this area to me as a spot she was interested in hunting so in we went for the first time together. Id hunted the area just not this particular system

By all means prioritise whatever pays you best but splitting your costs would make the idea much more compelling.
