I thin for many, especially if they grew up in an uptight/religious household, learning that sex isnt bad and exploring your sexuality can be empowering. and it's nice to know you are attractive lol. but there is nuance! having sex from time to time with ppl you have vetted and trust (and in relationships) is not the same as fucking as many ppl as u can because society said u should! most ppl have sex in relationships, casually and unexpected with a good friend (and one night stands), but still have a good head on their shoulders. i think pop culture makes it seem like the average young person is fuckin different ppl 24/7 when in reality they aren't overdoing it and are just living their lives. with music theres always exagerration but most ppl just listen to it or fun, to party to, dance to, have sex to, etc. the majority know its not that serious
I agree to an extent. The constant images/messages promoting promiscuity and materialism is crazy....instead of promoting respect for others, personal responsibility, and healthy relationships. Those same messages never talk about the consequences of that kind of lifestyle. On the other hand, everyone has their own definition of what promiscuity is depending on their culture/beliefs. For some, anyone that has sex outside of marriage is considered promiscuous 🤷🏾♀️. I do find though, that there only seems to be a concern about sexual behavior when it comes to women, while many men's promiscuity is overlooked...that's another issue in itself. Now personally, I don't agree with the whole "wait until marriage" thing, but I do believe in safe sex, using discernment, and being responsible.
How about you let people make their own decision? Like a women wanting to have sex with multiple ppl isn’t anyones problem. You know what’s a real problem, why can’t men still fuck
