    I really like you videos, thx alot :) But at 14:20 is a bad example - if you do it this way the train will be locked to shunting mode und therefor be limited to 30kmh all the way which is veery slow...

      Good point! It does need to come back out of shunting mode after it turns around

    Did you by any chance cover in any of your tutorials how to handle a train finishing a leg at one station an beginning its next leg at annother? How do you transfer the train between the stations in this case?

    I do not think your second turning of the loco was necessary for any type of loco. as your total objective was to drive the train in the right loco direction from the other end to its arrival. Of course modern electrics can be driven from either end so no turning. But old electrics and diesels and steam had a forwards and backward way of been driven.

      This is correct, you do not need to turn a loco around. The reversing of the loco in the particular example was purely to manoeuvre the loco to where we want it to be, in a relatively small space rather than having any loops. or longer tracks.
