I saw Adam Lambert that night at the You Tube Space in NYC, NY, and had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Adam. Sounded amazing and he is a sweetheart!!! Adam is always perfect!
His keyboardist wasn't performing in the set but Camilla Grey was with him during his first tour in 2010 and rejoined him this last year or so. This song by the way garnered him a Grammy nomination in 2010. His solo music catalogue is amazing but you should give a listen to him with Queen. His power vocals really come out in Who Wants to Live Forever and The Show Must Go On. This is a great last note/run Adam does in this performance but he hits the stratosphere in these two Queen songs.

I’m glad you enjoyed his performance. Look up some of his other live performances, he’s phenomenal. Even better in person. His stage presence is something else. Look up his original high tour. Talcvids did a lot of good recordings.

I don't like it because his voice is plugged straight into the audio. Yes you can really hear his voice which is beautiful, but you do miss out on much of how it blends and plays into the background music. Adam is the lead singer now for Queen (allowing the guys to keep rocking on without Freddie). Adam is amazing in that role. He has already put out several solo albums. One of his most memorable live performances is when he performed "Believe" at the Kennedy Center Honors show for Cher.
So glad you "discovered" the joy of Adam Lambert. Love him, he has the most incredible voice, and yes- he always makes sure to have women in his band (and POC too), so major respect for that. I had the absolute joy to attend the Queen+Adam Lambert concert in Vancouver right before covid hit, which for an aging hippie rocker like me was such a gift. It's a shame that the whole pandemic thing interrupted the success of Velvet. I hope we have many more years of amazing performances from him. I love him live way better than recorded, but I'll take me some Adam any way I can get him.
