This will probably be my last drone video of TT2, as previews are coming up and soon we'll get to see the ride up close from the ground!

I think everyone has a misconception about this ride. The first launch is going to be underwhelming it's supposed to be they don't want you going too high up otherwise your speed going into the spike will be more than they have programmed the launch for. The punch will be going backward into the spike that is the seller of this ride, then your full speed ahead to get over the top hat, I think TT2 is fascinating

Seems to have a staged launch a la Ka...? the first punch to get it going seems pretty intense

It’s nice to see the lights on the top hat work again! It’s just a shame that first launch’s acceleration is really slow. Overall I’m really excited though!
What’s the acceleration?
@@Jimmylovessalt Top Thrill's old acceleration was about 1.65 G's. Through my rough calculations, the new acceleration of the first launch is 0.45 G's. 29% of what it used to be.
@@SirUntouchable I rode a launch with 1.78 gs, telling you it wasn’t intense at all. I prefer rides that have more drops and airtime.
@@Jimmylovessalt I think Top Thrill 2 will deliver a great experience in its own way, but I will miss the old launch system and watching it from off the ride. It looked intimidating with how fast it happens
Where did you see the lights on the top hat working again?

It's only a few cycles but it looks like it is 1 1/2 min cycles between launches. Hopefully it gets better but this is with no people on it either. I was hoping the block zone of the train in the course run would end somewhere near the bottom of the top hat, but it looks like the next train doesn't start getting into position until after the finish line and next to the station. So perhaps the switch track doesn't initiate until after the train reaches the finish line.
It looks to me like the track switch moves when the next train is in the final drop, just before the finish line marker.
I must not have great eyesight. I can’t see it move.
@@TommonSensePro 6:05 Its hard to see but next train starts moving when previous train has reached bottom of the top hat element.

It really is… this video makes it look very underwhelming.. on ride it looks better.. but that roll back isn’t a roll back lol not in my opinion..
@@TravelwithEbby At least the kickoff looks OK, it looks like it starts quick like an old Intamin impulse instead of just crawling at the start.

I know they're just testing, but I hope they make the train go a bit higher up that spike when it opens. it seems like it's not high enough
