- Today I would be taking a step back from being on the trails as I had the privilege of attending the start of the Headstock 500, a 500km bikepacking event around Wales, starting at the Tiny Rebel Brewery in Rogerstone. This challenging route is one I know all too well, as I was the first person to ride it back in August. This was my day at the headstock 500 bikepacking event, meeting the riders and checking out the event.

Great video 👏 my dad did it but only got 140 miles in as he got a eye infection trying to get his contact lens out! He said it was tough cycling but fun

Just been out cape wrath aswell, been before 15 years ago but took bike this time be good to spread the trip. Its not far but in two parts on my channel and exciting boat as the ferry man was off. You would have to recharge on route but I don't think motorcycles are welcome at this event.

I don't think actual legal e-bikes are specifically banned from the event. It's not a race after all. But it would be hard to ride this on a e-bike with the need to charge it, and the route being remote, away from anywhere practical to charge it.
